This should be resolved once we have cleared up some lore stuff internally, and for the record, Fox / FoS "refusing" the lore is no longer relevant.
-
Personally I am against it, Chaplain is already a pretty good validhunting job, and this will just make it all the more powerful against certain antags. Chaplain isn't a cultist.
-
Nobody buy this for 1 or 2 wizard points Make it bag of holding size and it might be worth
-
We did it bois :V Thank you!

At this point I don't care if fox likes the outcome of the final lore or not He's had half a year to look over it and never shown any public activity of working on it, only given minor feedback on it.

Oh look, another thing IPC's are also completely immune to sleepy pens and other chemicals such as syringe guns and gasses. In the end, IPC's are a snowflake race that bypasses so much else that they need some kind of Achilles

I think you just didn't want to understand my point, because I did make an example of what i meant by "technically they do not die" I am not referring to the "security murder" part, but rather, they don't fucking die If you get EMP'd on the mining shuttle you can still be repaired
-
They technically don't "die" They can always be repaired, there's no need for cloning and all that jazz They also completely ignore two of the damage types, toxins and oxygen. So yeah, you get wrecked by EMP's, just like any other person with prosthetics They don't need an EMP damage "reduction"

No, it USED to be a "super ship" but it was abandoned and raided, why would the Raiders leave tons of tech behind

ooooo, interesting, not very sure how it'd work with equipment though, perhaps a "Use primary" "Use secondary" button system for switching between the different exosuit equipables?

Prevent people from killing themselves on light bulbsV2
Regen replied to Hero_Swe's topic in Suggestions
It really doesn't, but nobody seems to give enough of a shit to make a PR for it, shit i'll even find the code https://github.com/ParadiseSS13/Paradis ... ng.dm#L460 Here, remove line 460 to 463 to_chat(user, "You try to remove the light [fitting], but you burn your hand on it!") var/obj/item/organ/external/affecting = H.get_organ("[user.hand ? "l" : "r" ]_hand") if(affecting.take_damage( 0, 5 )) // 5 burn damage H.UpdateDamageIcon() H.updatehealth() return // if burned, don't remove the light From that To this: to_chat(user, "You try to remove the light [fitting], but you burn your hand on it!") return // ouchie my hand was burned and I was unable to remove the bulb, at least I didnt take damage :feelsgoodman: Formatting is fucked but don't mind that You sure you don't want to take a step back and think of how worked up you're getting over this? -
Nobody has said "It must stay because of old ss13 meme" except you, funtimes. I am not wholly against removing it, I just think you're all over exaggerating the effect of it
-
Sure, it's a stupid feature, but the arguments here are hilarious. "YOU CAN DIE BY DOING IT, LOOK AT THIS PICTURE" So yeah, a glass shard can also kill you, so can space, so can figuratively anything in the game if you apply it enough times to your head. It's not a "BROKEN FEATURE OMG" it's an annoyance, a mild one at that.

What the fuck Are you the guys thats responsible of the "warning, contains hot" label on my coffee? Here's an easy fix, don't touch the lightbulb until you die I can fuck up and accidentally touch one as well, especially in RnD, but that doesn't kill me, not even close, you'd have to have the intent of killing yourself in mind to even get close to serious injury. "Guys let's remove glass shards because you can kill yourself with them"

What, this guy is literally taking sprite requests, the difference is that, while that is asking someone else to sprite it, this thread asks for things to sprite.

With our "new" antag system, antags are chosen purely based on chance and not job, this means that if you get chosen for antag, but you also get selected to be the warden, it will give you another job that is not protected. In simplest terms this makes it so that you can play security without having the "I want to play security but that means I opt out of every antag roll there is" I think malf AI should be excluded from this system, and only count those who has signed up for AI for the round. Why? Because AI is such a massively different job than any other on the station, it requires an entirely different mindset and mood to get into. The difference between playing security and traitor chemist is just a change of pace, while readying up for HoS and getting AI is two different ballgames.

Admins having some fun at OOC's expense

Not happening The metagame from the "Smell" bullshit will go far and beyond. Also, smell would change with the changeling as well, as they literally change their DNA
-
is it possible? Yes Will it be added? Most likely not
-
It would still be in my opinion a very good feature if added in. Might eveb encourage roleplay if players play as the dogs. Absolutely no The "respawn as NPC" feature is not so that players can respawn as Ian to validhunt whoever just killed them The possibility for metaplat would increase dramatically, so I don't see this happening
