That sounds like a good idea. The player who gets kick out can rejoin as a drone again basically. No harm done.

I believe this is a cool idea if someone is willing to make the image for it. This won't make the power of the magistrate any more or less effective. The Justice Department has a lot of power of being able to explain the situation to central command about what is going on at the station with just the stamp they currently have right now.

How else would you implement it? I believe everyone here kinda knew that this would be the problem hence the reason why there is no one coming up with a better solution. At this moment, even myself don't know a better way to implement it.

I think this is the best way because everyone can just choose to know sign language other than the other snowflaky language (gutter, tradeband, and clownish, etc). Unless there is another way to implement it, I don't see any other way.

You know, playing as a mute character in the game got me thinking. Is it possible to implement sign language into the game? You know, like the same way you pick another language, but a new option? I think it'll be awesome~! For me at least

Could pAI scream while they are on the holder anyways without being implanted? It can still call out in coms even after the holder dies. How is it a giant buff now? edit: Basically what I'm saying is what difference does it make if I have it inside me or in my pocket.

Because this requires surgery and a participating person to be a pAI, I don't see much of a balancing issue. Getting implanted may be either right away or it can take you an entire round if medical or some other person is willing to do the surgical procedure in the first place. The pAI may go afk or leave or become uncooperative, etc. Of course if this get implemented and abused often because its "overpowerd", it can always get nerfed or removed.

Well as far as I'm aware. Medical Huds and Crew monitors can be obtain through research I think. Also, I think if someone really wants a secHud, they could get a secHud (HUD version) from research as well. I don't like the idea of people asking permission to take one from the lockers. Its just not fair for new officers that come in late game with no secsunglassesHUD because some HoP/Shield/Detective has the last pair. Edit: The Sunglasses should be exclusive and the HUD can be obtain through research. I'm starting to like the idea of removing the sunglasses from the lockers and allow Security/Warden/HoS to start with them at round start. Edit2: The IAA/Magistrate starts with them at round start.

As far as I recall from an Admin Announcement during a round I played, Detectives and Shields (or anyone not sec) obtaining Sec Huds from the Security Department was job bannable. Edit: I would say anyone caught doing this should be reported to the admins.

Can we implement the same code in which lockboxes can be hacked with multitool? You know like the crates you find in the asteroids as a miner? If you fail to unlock it (after many attempts) then it explodes in your hand (no damage of course)
