I agree that a new map is best. Meta is a good stand in if it was ready. But it's not and I think we'd be better putting resources into a map built from scratch than fixing a map that wasn't designed around the paramix that we have. I also believe Neca was in favour of a bigger map which included more "off" station things that are currently on Z levels with Box. For example, mining asteroid being a part of the station map, prison camp, engi outpost. Which for me, all make sense. Something like Asteroid Station would be a good basis for what we should do.

I think Plasmamen should remain where they are and that's not because I already own one and have another 86 Karma banked at the moment. The frequency of the other races is just a little too *common* for my liking. For a long time I was the only Plasmaman, for a long time it was me and another IPC on the station. Now there is Vox Club that I can justified dedicating an entire room to their atmosphere. Don't get me started on Vulkins. They are my mortal enemy. -
How are miners gibbing on the mining shuttle?

Much in the same vein that the cryo pod announcement was shot down on the github. This is actually a a nerf to antags. It can prevent the ability for any degree of stealth. For example if it's known there is cult on station and off station travel is banned or limited to certain people. Shuttle departures and announcements makes it fasr to easy for the AI to monitor it. The only sat without AI vision is the Engi sat and even then the pod entrance has cameras. Also I can imagine some jerkwad spamming the console to spam comms to alert crew members if they've lost their headset. Plus I'd find it super irritating.

Antags are there to make rounds interesting. A cluster fuck round is not interesting, especially if that antag doesn't need to be involved.

Everyone is a bad idea. Wizaed could just sit back on his base and let the station destroy itself. Give half the station a target they must kill the other half a target they must protect. All randomly assigned.

Regard service borgs. They ARE the most useless to be honest. They can't really mix drinks, they can barely do any paperwork and they are totally useless to the AI. Anytime I play borg I will always differ my module to the AI's desire. If an AI lets me pick then I generally go Mining. But my preference when given a choice is Engineering module if the AI doesn't want me mining.

I don't really get the problem here. The summary I'm picking up here, is that some Sec borgs are valid hunting and therefore should be removed? That seems like a terrible reason to remove an entire aspect of gameplay because of player action rather than it's something caused by the module itself. I'd like to see / hear examples of the valid hunting they do though. I've seen it mentioned several times but no real reasons provided. I play BOT||tek regularly and generally I follow a simple pattern for arresting people. 1: Do they have a warrant? If yes, arrest, detain and take to sec. 2: If no, are they currently commiting a crime. Did someone state they commited a crime? If, yes. Request detainment. Is it gree? Don't pursue, other alerts, pursue, detain. Note resistance. 3: Nothing happening, no outstanding arrests? Patrol maint, inspect everything. Record notes constantly. Plenty of people have addressed the weakness of borgs. It's not just EMP or flashes. High-cap cell borgs can maybe stun someone 10 times before their battery runs try and that's if they are fresh from the charger, which is rare. They are MUCH slower until they get VTECH, if they get it. Laser pointers (blinding), even laser tag guns (Fogging), screw driver opening a door are obsecticals against a sec borg.

Like seriously, 3 days in a row. I've seen Wizard rounds just come in pairs. Is there something wrong with the round chance? Isn't there some way to stop same round types happening right after each other?

Will it be just be something we'll have to build instead of the sing? Or can the server be setup to randomly generate a Sing or Tesla engine?

Atmos doens't spread like that under LINDA. I will check but I've always been "pushed" by the air and the more you mind in gulag the less pressure the gulag has as it spreads out.

The labour camp is under used. It makes me sad that security basically don't use it because it's easy for people to escape. One of the main reasons is because the Xeno life on the asteroid get baited into the Labour camps mining area by prisoners. This prevents more prisoners going into mine whilst others attempt escape. I suggest placing the labour camp back into place, maybe expanding the eastern asteroid little more to accomodate more mininig room and a few clear walls indicating a secure area between the miner's outpost and the labour camp outpost. Research can still have their place, only over where the labour camp is. Especially since archaeology is not a thing right now, the place mostly gets used for traitor/cult activity. Keep the old Russian mining place where it is and the shuttle. I think it should be difficult for a prisoner to get to those location but some clever work using tiles, walls and getting sec to give them air pumps with gas should help.

I never said that. I was actually spectating a Blob round and saw a Blob holding off the crew quite well. One guy came along 30 minutes in and blasted the shit out of the Blob core with an X-Ray gun. Round over. Very boring. But k whatever. I am pretty much able to get all the materials needed for max research in around 20 - 30 minutes as a miner.

Before they run out of energy. They are absolutely giving the blob 0 chance to fight back. All it takes is one person to get to RnD Grab an x-ray gun to destroy a rogue AI or Blob in around 10 shots. Never needs to reload, can ignore all degrees of defence or attack that either can do. If someone wants to use X-ray guns to destroy blob or AI several should be printed and force them to actually organise to kill it. Sometimes an AI or Blob doesn't even have time to react becasue of it.

Actually back in ZAS the best way to deal with fire was to manually disable vents. Then switch the scrubbers to Plasma, O2 only. Leave everything else, the fire would soon burn itself out. Then to deal with temperature different set the room to cycle so that it syphoned and pushed in new air. I could fix a room in 10 minutes on ZAS after a fire provided the scrubbers network was not tampered with first. With LINDA that best thing to do that gets close to fire without the loss burn out is to make a nice horrible mix in in Toxins or Atmos and pump it into a canister. I once killed everyone on the escape shuttle by having a container will 1 million KPA of CO2 that was at something like 10,000 degrees C. No one realised what was going on until they were all charred messes.

I'm sorry you don't get much Karma. but as said before you are doing jobs that are not visible to people. Get out on the station and socialise more. People reward Karma for good roleplay or inventive work in your job. I once converted the assembly line into a 'Mengbay' and got tonnesof Karma for it. Other rounds have been different or none at all. But there will not be rework. It's there to promote roleplay and I will admit it's hard to pry Karma from me.

Right now GPS Trackers are a little useless. So very few AIs know they can go the Teleporter console to check their locations / use the teleporter to move them. I included myself in the second part. Telescience is a strange and mysterious beast and I want nothing to do with it. Anyway... Give miners, the QM and maybe the bridge? A console the ability to track MINE0 - 3 or any GPS tracker labeled MINE.

I sorta had a plan for that. But I will admit I was hugging maint as much as I could to avoid any encounters. Sad part is as antag I've kiled Ivan brutally twice now. Once as a traitor were I was miner and he was in Science giving me a hand. I sleepy penned him, teleported to the asteroid and threw his body down the disposal chute still in sleepy state. -
