  1. If people were spamming cluwnes and superfart, I'd want them gone too. And as others have said, growth serum looks bad and is poorly implemented. It's inherently spammy and jarring. I'm all for silliness if well-done, but this is just plain broken.
  2. I like this very much. In fact, I'm honestly surprised this wasn't thought up sooner. +1 from me.
  3. Preferably by removing it altogether. This topic is absolutely not motivated by that time I was a vampire and I came across the chaplain in maintenance, no siree! I quite like the chaplain role. It adds a nice bit of flavor, and has (in theory) responsibilities which are almost completely roleplay-oriented. The station wouldn't be the same without it. As such, it's a crying shame that it possesses an item which instead encourages it to be the round's designated valid hunter. So... We have an item which not only dampens the powers of cultists and vampires, but also makes an effective weapon in its own right. To make things worse, it can transform into a wide array of outright weapons (don't you need a permit to carry them?) The chaplain's supposed to be the station-equivalent of your parish priest, not Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Now, to be clear, I don't mind the Chaplain being able to create holy water, nor its fantastic properties. This fits the role and doesn't make him an actual warrior. I realize this isn't anyone's highest priority, not by a longshot, but the solution is eminently simple.
  4. I was honestly surprised when I learned it wasn't enforced. It seems natural enough, saving random casualties from being permanently removed from the round and saving antags from going to ridiculous lengths to hide each and every cadaver. But I can see the other side: Having to act completely oblivious as the person that killed you lures you to your second death could be immensely frustrating. So I don't know. I do agree with whoever suggested that there be a grace period, so if you're bound and gagged for ten minutes before your attacker disposes of you, you remember enough to incriminate him. Of course, that could penalize vampires, but they can shapeshift anyhow... That's fine and dandy under Green Alert, but seeing as most antag rounds wind up with Blue Alert by half-an-hour in, it still gives Security a massive leg up. Granted, storage implants exist, but they cost 8 telecrystals for a mere two slots.
  5. Suggestion #1 seems far too easy. If the cultists can rattle off all their discoveries from the start, what's to stop them from getting all their runes within in the first twenty minutes? As for Suggestion #2, I'm not necessarily against the number of cultists scaling to meet the player count, but I'm not sure it's that important, seeing as the cult can grow exponentially... I think the main problem with cultists is that of every antag on Paradise. Someone invariably jumps the gun and bungles it, thus raising the Alert Level to Blue or higher. This allows Security Officers to search indiscriminately, which they will do if someone so much as looks at them funnily. On a less-populated station, this wouldn't be an issue. Security would be less-staffed, and it would be much more possible to catch someone alone, etc. The solution, I think, isn't to buff antags but to increase the amount of external dangers. I played janitor once, and the experience wasn't "Janitor... IN SPACE!" or "Janitor... WITH MAYHEM!" It was merely "Janitor-With a Pimpin' Ride." It was a soothing experience, certainly, but hardly escapist. If things are running THAT smoothly, I think something's wrong. Of course, this opens up a whole other can of space worms, which no doubt merits its own topic.
  6. Aye. Most of the time, it's nigh impossible to use all three words into a single conversation and still sound sane. This is the trick, you don't need -all- three words. Ideally you say one in a sentence, they response with a word in theirs, you respond again with another... that way it doesn't look ridiculous and to everyone else you're having a reasonable conversation... I've had this happen a few times with other more RP-heavy Tot players. And with this update it'll happen even more! Thanks! The in-game text could perhaps be clearer on the matter. =P

  8. Because, I imagine, it's not 100% compatible with Paracode, and as Fox said, Paradise doesn't have enough coders to do so willy-nilly.
