IPC, something a lot of people tend to think is a bad idea. You get EMPed and bonk, dead, and I am actually ok with that, this thread is not anti-EMP.
HOWEVER. I was just killed by a Diona, emp, whatever, just happens, but then they went out of the airlock, and dragged my corpse all they way to the middle of space, no hardsuit, nothing, didn't even harm him one bit, I, however took mounds of burn damage. Am I the only one that things this is a little off?
Dionae are organic still, and I am not sure you know, cold is a pretty potent killer to a plant, and a sentient plant lifeform, would no doubt be similar, they might be able to sustain a small stint into space, but not for long. Also, I assume Dionae have to breath, like other plants? Wouldn't they be effected by the vacuum in that sort of way?
Yet you have an IPC, who have a very fragile frame, and apparently a cooling system from the 80's, and they can't even stay in the vacuum of space for more than 5 minutes. IPCs are supposed to be state of the art, mass produced yes, but still, they're cooling should last a bit longer, if not indefinitely in outer space.
I mean yea, the Dionae are slow, but I think they get enough buffs to make them a pretty nice pick, but they seem to be better robots than the IPC. The IPC get an instant kill (the Dionae do too) They get weaker limbs, and they can't survive in the vacuum of space. Like really, it feels like when you make the IPC pick, you are just asking for hardmode.
MY SUGGESTION: Either remove or lessen the burn damage taken by IPC in vacuum, as it stands they practically get not benefit other that not needing oxygen in a Hard Suit. Dionae can stay as they are, but I used them as an example to display this clear and kinda silly disparity between balance
