Bump, I guess we wait for an admin now.

Do you guys play it or have at least seen/tried it? I've been playing since the release date a few years back and still actively enjoy it. I migrated from the CS:S community to CS:GO and pretty much live in the competitive side of the game. Highest rank/league I got was Master Guardian Elite or something (the one with the two golden aks)? Currently I'm sitting at Master Guardian 1. How about you guys?

I'll just be the one to say this but, Fuck all the spin-off DayZ mods. DayZ Origins, Breaking Point, DayZ+, this and that. Most of the shit is just adding in content the game already has and pressuring people into buying VIP Packages and Pre-built bases. The original DayZ was fantastic, then came all the bullshit private hives and private this and that. I hate private servers with an absolute passion, it's just a way into making the game your personal money-grabbing haven than what the mod was intended to be. The standalone is pretty decent so far, development is slow but it's moving along I guess. I'm just glad that the devs even said that all the modding and spin-off mods of the game won't be available to anyone. So now DayZ Standalone PVP NO ZOMBIES 24/7 DAYLIGHT won't happen.

That's why the lore doesn't appeal to me very much, it's such a common thing in games/stories that it's over-exhausted itself. Ooh, heroes that found this or defeated that, now they're gods and idols! I guess the Harani could somewhat fall under that but it's more of just a very thin and feminine race than a pedophiles dream.

I bought the $50 founders pack. I've enjoyed it so far, combat is very fun. Lore is pretty.. eh.. but overall I'm pretty hyped for the game.

Hey Regens, before the rollback I was the first to make a thread so I guess I'll repost it to the best of my memory. In general I made over 100+ edits ranging from fixing sentences to lore work to uploading images to creating areas in the map portion of the wiki. You said I could get a badge but whether or not you've changed your mind on that I'll still continue doing wiki work. Yeeeaaah, I guess. Either way, an admin should at least make an announcement or something about doing wiki work that can earn you some karma. Like in the original post it'll draw more people to contributing to the wiki.

Since when? I've done over a hundred edits and I've never gotten anything for it.

Idea: 2 Karma reward per detailed and informative wiki page that an admin has looked over and is satisfied with. Even before the rollback happened the wiki was still very empty on many things, a lot of people would probably participate in developing the wiki further if rewards were in place to motivate the community more. So my proposal is fairly simple and to the point, 2 karma rewarded per page that is fully detailed and an admin would see it as very good and informative. A lot of the current people who edit the wiki do it because we enjoy further improving the wiki and making sure everyone has information on things they may not understand. Putting in a type of reward program can motivate more people to get involved and improve the wikipedia for a small reward in-game. This suggestion popped into my head after the rollback occurred and I'm sure a fairly decent amount of writers are demoralized now. A lot of work was lost and it made me realize that the wiki is very, very slowly developing. A reward program would surely jolt up the community and dozens of pages would be completed and the writer can be happy with the small reward. I should also mention with the newest subforum "Wiki Development" that could be a great place for admins who specialize in the wiki to review threads made by players who have written out a page and are requesting an admin look over it for the two karma reward.

Any rewards for doing it? Since the rollback happened a lot of work was lost and well.. I'm not motivated anymore. I know sometimes theres KP rewards for sprite making so.. would there be a KP reward for doing optimal work on empty wiki articles?

Not going to pay a hundred bucks for a promise, I'd suggest investing in Elite: Dangerous or Limit Theory instead.

Yeah, my suggestion is to have the barber spawn with a box filled with various bottles of dye (red, blue, pink, yellow, purple, etc).. the one I just uploaded is an example of what the bottle could look like.

So heres a quick example of what I have in mind, just a small bottle of sorts that has some dye in it. You click on the persons head and boom! Pink hair! I just did a quick drawover and edit of Nanopaste but it looks pretty nice in my opinion.

Alright so, Epinephrine Sacs.. probably the most confusing and difficult one to make, did some research and epinephrine is basically adrenaline. Adrenaline is pretty much a giant burst of energy, with that in mind the most reasonable thing that came to mind that wasn't too complicated was simply a human with a exclamation mark above their head.. so it pretty much means the person is startled, excited, etc and gives you an idea of what the ability does.
