I am the person behind Ununpentium, the asshole in science. Always yelling at cargo because they dont fucking order a machine prototype and being rude to alot of people. I am at the point of breaking into tech storage, stealing the lathe board (proto), the lathe board (auto) and some yellows alongside a flash (for actually making me do this) to setup a second protolathe... I use one for parts, the other to finish RnD... its painfull... its slow... its not fun at all... and I am rarely in the mood to torture myself with chores sadly. Before the time refactor parts were printed in an acceptable speed... but now when you print parts you are literally sitting in RnD together with 2 other people who want to print and all you do is complain ICly about "That POS of a machine takes way too long.". Its just really tiresome to upgrade now and I rarely see anyone doing it besides the regular suspects. And even those seem to grow more and more tiresome.

I disabled instruments. I do like Electric Guitars, but the sound of them is way too loud. Some guy was playing "Sweet home Alabama" on the E-Guitar last night which was really nice. Unfortunatly I had to turn instruments off after that since people startet to play random sounds which really hurts my eardrums alot.

An upgrade for IPCs making them EMP resistant would be alright. Not outright immune but rather resistant. Maybe so a strong pulse doesnt blow off all limbs and just rather damages it. Or some shielding for their circuits. Maybe go so far by replacing all semiconductors in their circuits with organometallic counterparts which are alot harder to fry via electromagnetic pulses but requiring alot of tech levels and resources to produce to balance it.
