  1. Data expunged, check biography in that biography club thing.
  2. While a bit more complicated mechanics in the chemistry system would be nice I would like to say that making it too realistic might put off people from it. I am a chemist in real life and I must say... if the chemistry system on our server would be anymore realistic so that I need to purify my products and remove solvents... maybe analyze it via different methods (Mass Spectroscopy/Mass Spectrometry (whatever the english term for that i, seen both describing the same) and NMR for instants) to see if I even got the damn product I desire... I would not be using it as much as I do now. As for now some ratios are off which could be adjusted (Thermite comes to mind... Yeah its ingame as 1/1/1 Iron/Aluminum/Oxygen, but Iron(III)oxide is Fe2O3 so... something doesnt fit with the oxygen ratio in there just as a hint). Also the poor Medchems... their lab is so damn tiny... "Realistic Chemistry" often means tedium. Work some people might not want to put into it. However I am all down for altering the ratios and adding more intermediate products with different uses and applications. Come on we got Aceton and we cannot use it as a cleaner alternative? Diethylamine is highly combustable yet it is not nearly as combustable ingame and its really bad for your eyes if you get vapors of it directly into them... Also not every person can stand the smell of it, I had people already throw up because of its filthy smell... Anyways getting carried away I guess... I would really like to see a more sophisticated Chemistry system ingame. But if its too complicated it will definitly put people off and ditch it altogether. By the way the "Plasma" is most likely a Nitrogen Group Element considering how oxophile it is and how exothermic it reacts with oxygen. Also the ratios it reacts with oxygen well seem to fit into that group aswell. Doesnt explain though why you wind up with Carbon Dioxide after reaction... probably some magic or that...
  3. Indeed the one from the Wolfenstein games. In appearence and as in name. Though not as actual carbon copy of that guy. Wouldnt be fun for anyone. Might have to adjust the age a bit, 70 is fairly young for Strasse and considering the Sci-Fi setting were people usually tend to get alot older.

  5. Hello people of Paradise Station. My name is EldritchSigma and I have heard about this game on the Cataclysm DDA Forums and on the Dwarf Fortress Forums. So I looked into this game and I quite like it. Especially the server I seem to have chosen. Its a pretty nice community from what I have seen so far. IRL I am 24 years old and working as a chemist. Now anyways. I am still fairly new to the game and I am kind of slow with controls still which should pass over given enough time. I have created several characters with all different personalities on the server already which I quite enjoy playing. Most of the time I enjoy playing as my Chemscience Character Willhelm Strasse who I would describe as an old, slightly overprotective guy who is proud of his work and very arrogant towards the engineering department (Some may have seen that already). Also frequently making grenades for testing of different payloads... So far about what I have been doing. What I plan to do is diving into other departments with different characters and see how I like them. Havent done that so far, sort of "afraid" because the first time I went for science I did so much wrong and people at the front desk were mad at me because I (as in me not as my character) did not know how to use the Protolathe... Anyways thats about me, seeya arround.
