  1. We have a lot of those. They are great, yes, but a few relaxed ones can't be a bad thing, honestly. Especially one that shows off our history.
  2. The gateway missions should be difficult, and hard to survive. It's something you're going out of your way to do. Most gateway missions provide you with ranged options inside them anyways, and even if they don't, it's very simple to just cheese the mobs as others have mentioned.
  3. NPC mobs don't need nerfs at all. With a bit of strategy you can completely annihalate them.
  4. Loot isn't a primary focus.
  5. IT'S MY 3000TH POST, MIGHT AS WELL BE SOMETHING GREAT. This is something I've thought about for a bit, pitched the idea in OOC and everyone thought it was great. So, uh, here goes. Essentially, this is a gateway mission of the Cyberiad from late 2013/ early 2014. However, it's a wreck. Electricity doesn't work, things are torn, breaches, etc. How would people get around? Well, you could use a crowbar, or... Perhaps a guide bot similar to what they have on Goonstation. It would be broken down and slightly malfunctioning. (Hell, it could serve as a final boss at the end, transforming into something terrifying. Fuck if I know.). This is a bit of a bare bones idea, but it has the potential to be really neat, and show off a bit of our history.
  6. This being the first thing I see when I open this topic. Anyways, As long as it isn't associated with the vulp race as others have said, and is its own thing, sure. No twilight crap either.
  7. Ok, if I can't press the big red button, what happens if I press every OTHER button, at the same time?
  8. That oversimplifies things.
  9. I wouldn't mind this change.
  10. Why are people necroing all these old threads as of late?
  11. Unit Spark 5.5 online. Synthetics always stuck out to me, honestly. It's just a fun style of mechanics and roleplay. Glory to Synthetica.
  12. They are not meant to be useful. Cluwning only occurs when an admin does it via the smite command, in which you probably deserve death, or a wizard, which is meant to cause chaos.
  13. The entire point of a cluwne is to be killed. I mean, I generally try and have them borged after they die, but still.
  14. nobody climbs on my food
  15. We do not need to encourage validhunting more than we already do.
  16. I was the one that stated this in OOC. I'm probably the person that's been most vocal for the past few years about not wanting to port random wanton things from /tg/. This won't turn us into /tg/ or lower our standards. Merely change the pace a bit. There are a lot of games out there that have several different large maps. Learning the maps can be tricky, but it, as stated before, is a great change of pace and often makes antags reconsider their approach to things. Each map brings a lot of interesting and new content to the table, which opens opportunities for RP and other such fun things. The same can be said about a lot of aspects of SS13. Jobs and antags, in particular, spring to mind.
  17. We really don't need fart sounds. As I've mentioned many times, it's middle school humor levels.
  18. The macro is a lot easier than the button, and I'd like to not clutter up the screen with a whole bunch of them.
  19. This is something only an admin should handle. We use faxes to guide the round and make large decisions that effect things on a massive scale. No player, even with 100kp, should have that ability.
  20. Kei knows who he needs to steal lunch money from next.
  21. No ERP
