That's part of the game, Sheakhan. It's pretty fair that there should be a possibility to escape the implant SOMEHOW. And it CERTAINLY doesn't mean you should execute prisoners instead of loyalty implanting them.

What does that have to do with keeping people in game. If they escape the implant somehow, then they should probably be perma'd or formally executed.

Gold grub? Sure. Monsters tend to be near each other in the asteroid. There's always that chance that you'll find a bunch of them in a group, or happen to bump into another one while fighting one.

Here's how /tg/ mining works: You walk in the asteroid, shooting through the rock, when you come across a pathway. Upon further exploration, you can see it's FILLED with ore. Completely filled. You begin mining. Then you get killed ten seconds later by a Goliath, hivemind, and basilisk. Game over, no more round for you. I'm fine with everything EXCEPT the monsters, when it comes to /tg/ mining.

I agree, loyalty implant should mean freedom.

Why not have advanced loyalty implants for security and the captain, which can't be pulled out. Normal ones are stored in the armoury, and can only be pulled out in the first thirty seconds of being implanted, as it takes that long to manifest inside the player.

I'll download the latest Baycode version and hunt for it later, I just pulled it off the first area I could find it.

A Syndicate Cyborg set fire to everything in science before being flashed to death by a security cyborg. I stood in the middle of it all as a fire-proof pAI.

Perhaps if we fax a photo that has a syndicate hardsuit or some syndicate items on it, the game will activate code gamma automatically. I want to snipe some Ops with an LWAP.

The general vibe I get, and keep getting, is that the community's words fall on deaf ears. We say 'Please don't remove this', and it somehow gets taken out anyways. We say 'Please, don't change this.' yet, it gets changed anyways. We say 'we'd like to try something new'. It gets rejected, time and time again. I understand everyone that codes for us is trying, but listening to the community is key. I don't see why we can't try new ideas, and if it doesn't work out, remove it again. We shouldn't be scared to do so because of past failures. Edit: Only three of those species are karma species.

I'd put this under the 'listen to the community' category.

I really hate the no speaking over the radio while in soft crit thing. It REALLY fucks people over. If you happen to lose a limb, even, you can no longer speak over your radio. Yech.
