  1. Takes another few seconds to fix that easily.
  2. It only takes about three seconds to click the button to set it to the list.
  3. I would actually be alright with this.
  4. Yo, yo, take yo lame /vg/ setup out of here, we doin' REAL engineering work here, mate.
  5. /TG/ has the service channel, I think we'd benefit more from that if we had that.
  6. ID theft happens A LOT. Esspecially since you have a handy PDA slot, so you can store an extra ID inside the PDA and viola, security will never know until you inevitably get yourself caught and arrested for trespassing. And as I said, security and janitor will abuse this A LOT. Besides, giving security medical access (Which they technically have already via the security office.) would nullify the point of having a brig physician. Security would just grab medical supplies somehow and book it. Maybe we should have a brig engineer or something as well. Would cost about the same as brig physician, maybe a bit more. Though that's off topic.
  7. You gotta think about this gamewise, however. Security would flaunt this to be a shit constantly, or be constantly meta-ing by checking into toxins or what have it. Janitors would be even MORE of a shit with this. Think about it. All they have to do is get past those front doors and they now have access to Tramadol, medical supplies, and all sorts of irritating shit. That, and if a traitor/ greytide member got ahold of a Janitor's ID, whoopde fucking do, they now have access to Medbay, science, and cargo.
  8. Didn't I already suggest that we port over /tg/station safety pickaxes? Also, ya, please ring off the gulag with walls completely or give it its own Z-level. I can't tell you how many times I've broken the gulag on accident as a normal shaft miner.
  9. Seriously, don't. This will pretty much just fuck over science, as it's 100x harder to get materials. Also, I like to take mining as a relaxative job. It's a decent job for newer players, and allows them to see how EVA and that type of thing works. I wouldn't mind a mesons change, however. However, /tg/'s mesons actually used to work like what OP wants. It was pretty abused, however, in the fact that you could see someone trying to break into, say, engineering, because they had a flashlight on in maint. After that, all you had to do was make a stun prod, cable restraints, screwdriver the door closed, open the maint door, and just sit them down.
  10. Holy fuck yes please add this.
  11. Ya, IPC's only take one laser hit to the head to be destroyed. However, the way they feel pain and are easily repaired is, yes, a very big thing to consider. Pain in the ass to arrest them.
  12. Hue hue hue, very funny. I do like this idea, though.
  13. I also somehow managed to burst my lung without being in any depressurized/ non oxygen areas.
  14. It's still not any great for anyone who ends up getting it, regardless. I don't even know if the time you're given is enough to get past the first few steps of surgery (If you're even near medbay.) before falling over dead.
  15. We should be focused more on what's funner for the community, not what is more realistic, in my opinion. I'm fairly sure I'm not the only one who would say this. No, I meant we should revert to how we had it.
  16. Got bursted lungs? That's great, you'll only get one notification about it and then drop dead about ten minutes later without any further notification now. Why did we add this? If a miner, say, has a small accident, or a security officer is in a firefight and a window blows open next to them and they are both not near enough medbay/ can't get there in time, then it's Good Game No Rematch for you, buddy. Bursted lungs to begin with were very annoying to deal with, this just makes it ten times worse. It's like being facehugged now, the only better thing about this than being facehugged is that you can be cloned, if someone actually gives a damn. TL;DR: Fix this, please.
  17. I dunno, might just be my mentality that being in the round in any way is better than being out of it. Plus, if the ninja is robust, more and more people will accumulate in the prison area. Therefore, more fun.
  18. I dunno, it's kinda funner than being completely dead. If you don't want to be in there, just suicide. Not like you're getting back anyways.
  19. Just pointing out that you already start out with a pen. Type in "Remove-pen" in the command bar. Other than that, I like the idea.
  20. It's NT code, running on Metastation. They also built it below the bridge, instead of in it. ------------------------------------------------------- What happens when Kei' Shen and Bulma Briefs are stuck in a closed confined space together for a long time period.
  21. Throw bombs everywhere. Toss people out the airlock. Fill everything inventory space with Tramadol. Make security extremely pissed. Emag into the now unsecure armoury. Take all the guns. Kill EVERYONE. Spawn a dozen Emags. Emag everything. And yes, I mean EVERYTHING.
  22. I don't think we need to give traitors the ability to murderspree whenever here. It ruins other player's fun because one guy wants to murder everybody. It'll also create more metagrudges, hostility towards one another, and more people who just go SSD when they don't get traitor.
  23. As long as we don't get any more admins that play a Larkens character.
  24. I'm divided on this. On one hand, I really do like the chaos that comes with further players. On the other hand, I think we need to make the rules slightly (Read: Slightly) stricter. I'm noticing a lot more greytide that usual recently, and it's a pain in the ass to deal with, coming from a typical security officer player.
