Give them the laws of the shadows/afterlife: DO NOT INTERFERE WITH 'living' beings, do not concern yourself with antags, etc.
-
Then make them not able to do that. Or: GIve them laws to abide by. This can be easily solved
-
As extra thought: GIve them the following power(s): Shadowstep to step in other shadows Ability to turn off lights shortly. Ability to hide in darkness BOOOO! BUT THEY CANT DO DAMAGE OR HARM PEOPL! It's just a gimmick really

Title says it. Lots of time IM' bored. Or I WANT to play as shadow at roundstart for example. Just .. roam in the maints, do nothing, be spooky. Maint shadow hobo !! Would it be hard to add this? Next patch? NOW? TOMORROW?

This is what I call good roleplay right there.

It's only as boring as you make it though.

I agree. But then again, I'm just unrobust and I don't like killing if I don't have to. I like the objectives you come up with though

What I have noticed lately that whenever I end up with a job I don't want at all, could be engineer or something else, it's because I roll traitor.

That would also be nice. I would really like to see the wanted system used more often.

Yeah well, so a lot of the offices have one, but they are barely used. And their use could be improved, that is what this topic is about. What are your thoughts on that?
-
Exactly. All newscasters in the brig are security newscasters. And the one in the HoP office, I think. And perhaps the bridge, I'm not sure.

As you all know, (or not) the security newscasters can be used to publish wanted issues. I have a few issues with these issues, mainly because well, the feature is barely used because no one pays attention to it or does not know it exists. I would like to suggest the following changes: 1) Ability to have multiple wanted issues up at the same time. 2) Ability to re-broadcast the same issue(s), like some kind of reminder system for the station crew. (Currently you will have to take down the issue and recreate it to have the warning displayed/heard from newscasters). An automated reminder/broadcast repeat every minute or so would also not be amiss. 3) The possibility of offering a reward, or recognition of some kind. ^^^--> Security is often understaffed and immensely busy and let's face it: Non-security crew often know more about the underworld of the station. To ensure increased safety and safe apprehension of lawbreakers, incentives could be offered for people providing helpful information, exact locations or other useful things. This could also apply to voluntarily handing in contraband items. It would be nice if the player who hands in an item gets something in return, this will also give them less incentive to use the contraband item rather than handing it in. Thoughts?

Give the mechanic a hardsuit?

What could be done is that the antag's ID card cannot BE disabled, but that because it cannot be, it would stand out and be a bit easier to be detected perhaps. Also if an antag is stealthy enough and ensures they give their boss no reason to demote them, they have nothing to fear. I am in support of this suggestion, mainly to give the IAA more things to do.

I approve heartily of this Idea.

What they tried to say is: Shuttle recalled.

I support this. I talked with you about it in deathchat the other day. It would make sense, I like it.
