Thought I could start a bit of a thread sharing a bunch of mechanics and info that nobody really ever uses shift-to-shift. So uh, did you know you can tie cuffed people to pipes? I found out while i was being chased down by a vamp that glared and cuffed me but forgot to drag. I got tied to the disposal pipes as soon as sec saved me. It's kinda useless though 'cuz all the pipes are in the main tunnels out in the open. If you got any weird mechanics or info about how the game works, feel free to share here.

Honestly I just want this so I can start a PEN15 club

This is a pretty simple one, but I thought it could add alot of depth. Basically, take a couple of languages from the races that other species can mimic, and make it unlockable in the Karma Shop. Stuff like the humans' Sol Common. Of course, there are languages that cannot be replicated with average vocal chords, such as greys' telepathy and the dionas' rootspeek. From what I've read on the forums, A lot of people have a ton of excess Karma with nothing to spend it on. I wouldn't know what that's like though because of my sub-par RP skills. Point is, This can add a really fun new layer of interaction between players and maybe get some interesting experiences out of it, and people can use some of their karma on fun little stuff. The need for it to be behind the karma shop is debatable, but this is the basic idea. Let me know what you think.

Maybe give pAIs the ability to hold tiny objects. This lets them use a paper and pen and maybe some shenanigans.

Sleeping is used for making yourself vulnerable for RP though, right? I don't know if it's needed, but for a QoL thing, maybe if you had a trigger to get yourself out of a hairy situation. Like say you're in a depressurized area.

an easy way to make slip-free clown shoes is to just throw in some no-slip brown shoes in the washer with a clown stamp in, boom.

I aggree that pill pushing wouldn't work too well, but i think that the brainwashing thing could work. maybe the psych could be more like a psych-ic than psych-iatrist, with certain mind powers like mind swap to help put the "fantasy" into the job.

Other servers have a different mining outpost called "Lavaland" which might fit what you want. The enemies are - for all intents and purposes - the same, but new stuff like lava and chasms, the necropolis tentacle, and megafauna.
