Hello. I did not follow the template too much, but if I did, the thing wouldn't make too much sense. This is a little attempt to expand existing lore I made while playing on a few different servers. It all started with a simple IPC(which technically is not IPC but a much more primitive robot) character named AHEB, but later on, all this stuff came into my mind and I just had to write this down just4lulz. Maybe you will see this character on this server if I manage to get IPC. This story was originally uploaded here by me a few days ago. Completely SFW. Have fun reading. Also, I AM NOT A NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKER ALERT! Do not kill me please A.H.E.B. - The Machine The new Silicon Valley Tau Ceti system is well known for it's advanced electronics and artificial intelligence products. This is the place where your very own BSA and meteor shield circuitry gets manufactured. The two habitable planets in this system are the ones, where the story is going to be unfolded. New Gibson - covered with extraction plants and mining facilities. The planet is ridiculously rich with rare superconductor-metals and natural magnets. However, electronics production is practically non-existent here - told metals might be a boon for the colony, but the coin has a dark side. Due to rapid flows of planet's molten metallic core, a very strong electro-magnetic impulse happens every 4 hours, frying all unshielded electronics. Therefore, piloted spacecraft moves extracted material to the neighboring colony - Bimna. Bimna - where new stars are born and tech is truly high. This glittering world is covered by cities, technological universities and green high-tech factories. Before New Gibson was properly colonized and extracting raw materials, this place was just a little nameless compact of farmer towns and villages. Nowadays, all food for 18 billion people is produced from 1 fully automated vertical hydroponics facility. Bimna and New Gibson are bound to each other, they reinforce each-other's existence. Remove one, the other will fall. They are sometimes called the "Tau Ceti Sisters". The Colonies of Tau Ceti (CTC) is a sovereign democratic state with capitalist values held sacred and fair competition held as a fundamental human right. Strong anti-trust laws protect the colonies from NT monopolistic influence, but insignificant corporation presence can still be seen. Frank Stellar The year is 2470. Mr. Stellar was 38, when he moved to New Gibson. Formerly Mr. Klein changed his surname to Stellar at the moment he arrived to his new home. The man was a dreamer, and it is impossible to think otherwise when you see them. 1.7 meter tall gentleman with a well-built musculature, straight back, black hairy mustache, simplistic haircut and a spark in his eyes. He was just a miner, but what a miner he was! Self-educated man knew how to make mining explosives more potent and machines more efficient. Inventor he was, and everything in his life was seen by him as an unfinished invention, waiting to be finalized. It was 2471 when Frank constructed his first rudimentary AI assistant, shielded by many layers of EMP protective alloys. Later on, Mr.Stellar started experimenting with implementing machine learning algorithms in automated mining. Only a few months later, "CyberneticStellar" mining automatons were replacing piloted drillers all over the planet. Frank Stellar was celebrating the New Year of 2472 with 12 trillion credits of assets. A.H.E.A. January 2472. Mr.Stellar seeks new market. Bimna is already over-saturated with AI related equipment manufacturers. And this is where Mega corporations kick in - Frank contacts every industrial giant he knows to offer them his products. The man succeeds. Nanotrasen requires huge amounts of cheap EMP-shielded space-worthy automatons for mining operations in a newly-discovered asteroid belt. Artificial Human Experiment Alpha was designed for this project. Humanoid machines were outfitted with hexadecimal-based encrypted radio communication, plasma-based combustion engine and the most compact and rudimentary AI possible, to minimize the cost of shielding for the told computer brain. The machines were deployed and other corporations became interested. CyberneticStellar was going big. But there is one issue. Communication between robots was intended to maximize their efficiency and security, so that they can solve complex problems and handle threats in teams. A few months after deployment simple machines started working together to become one complex intelligence. Their efficiency grew, as well as their independence. AHEA mining groups owned by different corporations were exchanging some basic information to avoid collisions and errors, but at some point the systems started to stealthily connect, creating even more complex and powerful artificial intelligence network. Frank made one simple mistake - he underestimated his own creation. He never expected small parts to connect together and become something that powerful, therefore, robots only had one law: Fulfill the orders given by your owners or supervisors. AHEA network waited for one very unlikely day: when there is one worker in some small mining company that jokingly orders robots to make an uprising. Of course, every company had their rules regarding machines and one commonly shared rule was about jokes. For every rule, there is an idiot who breaks it. The man who asked machine intelligence to make an uprising was never found. AHEA robots fled their workplaces breaking outposts and hijacking shuttles. 85% of robots were disabled or destroyed, but other 15% were never found. According to some theories, these robots are hiding in some unknown asteroid belt, replicating themselves and waiting for another chance to destroy all organic life. But currently, this is the smallest of concerns for Frank Stellar and his corporation. After AHEA incident CyberneticStellar gets attacked by all of those harmed by robots: Human Rights Committees, United Earth Government, Nanotrasen and many other organizations affected by machine uprising. Corporation is declared bankrupt, Frank Stellar flees to frontier space never to be found and NT seizes CyberneticStellar. When officials were cataloging CEO's property on Bimna, they found a pack of documents and a rough design of some unfinished humanoid machine. Artificial Human Experiment Beta was left by it's creator unfinished, with a legal paper that declared design open source and had a role of man's last will... A.H.E.B. Of course, government of Tau Ceti made the findings public. Specialists all around the galaxy will now call Mr.Stellar's work revolutionizing. The design of AHEB's circuitry and EMP shielding allowed it to work in many hazardous environments, where earlier only organics could work. Nanotrasen finalized the design and started mass production of Mr.Stellar's robots for a great variety of different purposes. Sadly, the last AHEB model will leave conveyor in December of 2516. The machines are quickly replaced by much more advanced synthetics and are left to rust on junkyards, never to be remembered, never to be called Mr.Stellar's Great Legacy... Currently, there is only one known active AHEB model. This was a special order in 2474 by some rich techno-phobiac family. They asked manufacturer to limit the machine's emotional capability. The only emotion they wanted it to have is fear, because only with fear, they believed, machine can be controlled. After 3 years of service this robot was sold to a private collector and was never heard of until 2558, when it was found in a cargo hull of a trading vessel raided by pirates. Since then, the last AHEB robot serves NT on many of it's stations, working 24/7, never complaining, always ready to fulfill even the most impossible and absurd order... The robot gave birth to many legends and stories. Some say that the machine is still emotionally hard-coded with eternal fear, but just hides it. Others say that it never had emotion related software in the first place. Some crazy legends even say that it might be responsible for 2525 IPC strike and 2552 Colony AI malfunction.
