  1. Good on TG, not for para.
  2. For customization, I think it'd be really cool if you could edit the suit itself. Maybe even different schemes for different jobs.
  3. I have a few ideas: 1. A Nuclear Engine with cooling rods. Dipping the rods produces less power, but increases the safety/decreases the destruction due to malfunction. Raising them increases the power/increases the destruction. Furthermore, the rods would have to be checked throughout the round to ensure they are optimal, else a malfunction occur. It'd be an engine with a little bit of playing room, gives the engineers something to do over the course of the round, and can be potentially devastating if misused. 2. For the mechanic, I think it'd be cool if they served more customization roles. I made the pod paint, but I think adding decals that can be colored to the mechs would be cool too. I've got sprites for them, and meant to code them in, butlazy. 3. I like the idea of circuit fires, but I think it'd be cool if knotted cables did that rather than straight up overpowering the system. I think it's BETTER that we encourage engineers meme out the power grid as much as possible, and don't punish them for achieving god tier power. Also, ontop of this, random knotted cables appear in maint, so a picky engineer might want to go into maint and fix those.
  4. I think science needs to be made dangerous, especially if we're going to keep the current "copy X from database" type stuff with how it currently runs. Basing certain destructive reactions according to the reliability of a component perhaps. Hell, just so long as there is something that throws a spanner in the works would be great. Maybe needing to go and do a certain scientific thing to advance to a certain level. Maybe it causes anomalies to appear on the station rather than them being completely random events. Bluespace anomalies from sciences would be hilarious, albeit, would need to be kept in line.
  5. might be cool to need the shuttle require some maintenance from the techs. Fixing random engines or other misc stuff so it can go back.
  6. hey fguys sory im late but i make a cool sprite, it is not too late now is it??????? here i send it to this post: please give me the karma boss
  7. pleas gibe me gibrifle
  8. viewtopic.php?f=9&t=9340 Shameless self advertisement
  9. 4 hour rounds are terrible. 4 hour rounds with NOTHING happening are double terrible.
  10. Man, your drawings were awesome when you first started this, but now they've like WEW, best art thread.
  11. Ahhh ok that's all cool then, go forth and take sleepy folk
  12. recalculating as it goes is probly bad performance wise really, I think it'd be wiser to instead reach the destination, and calculate once it reaches that spot. If it gets blocked, it can calculate again also. That way it isn't just constantly calculating a path
  13. The best chaplain around 10/10 would build shrine of the most robust toolbox again
  14. Also it should be if they are cuffed imo.
  15. feature freeze ofc but, how fluff/important are the new jobs? A new race is cool too so long as it has out there mechanics imo.
  16. I like changelings because they are really free to go about what they do. A changeling can go through maint killing people one by one and it's A ok, or they can just stealth sting people for DNA. They have access to some pretty good gimmick stuff too. Compared to traitors, (Which I think is a better mode) where traitors are fairly leashed to what they do. I think how changeling currently plays would be nice to be taken to traitor mode.
  17. I'd like a bigger map, that is more cramped. So walking isn't a huge journey, but with enough room for... Stuff I guess.
  18. That's a goon meme, not a meme for our taking
  19. Yeah I don't think Vox Leap or Vent Crawl should be considered relevant to discussion. Active abilities are generally bad. Vulps/Tarj lighting up like nam would be a good debuff for a sizable buff. That's the only obvious one I can think of. Not for furry hate, but for interesting mechanics. Vox having to wear the big back tanks would more than make up for their spacewalking capabilities. I think it'd be cool if Unathi were resistant to infections, or almost outright immune to them, maybe being alot more susceptible to toxins causing them a slew of symptons making them convulse etc., skrell I've got no clue.
  20. Seeing an extra tile can mean a really big difference Lyricjupiter. I suggested last night that Vulps at a certain threshold of burn damage from 1 source (10), lights them up and gives them spacenam flashbacks. They'd need a big buff of course. I don't say that to hate on vulps, I think it'd be an honestly interesting mechanic that could be backed up with a buff. EDIT: Also I think Vox should have FORCED tanks on their back to balance out the spacewalking.
  21. The Telsa ruined our damn eye transplants
  22. Antags can't do fun shit, which is why so many of our current kills are shitty and unfun. Gimmicks which requires randoms can't be done because it can't be done on randoms, making the traitors job so much harder if it's say... A warden or head. That means unfun rounds for everyone, with the traitor trying really hard to get around the goal when they want to do something interesting.
  23. Currently working on the ritual table, which partly goes hand in hand with creating lair objects. If anyone is willing to make a ritual table sprite it'd be greatly appreciated!
