In light of recent events, I am going to be running games every single day, starting around Noon to 3pm each day, depending on players. Some games have members, some do not, so I definitely want to get these out there to increase my gaming time. Games will more or less be every week, unless there aren't enough players that day. Monday- MECHA MONDAY: Playing Mobile Frame Zero, online. A Lego-based tabletop skirmish game in the same vein as Warhammer. Tuesday- NINJA TUESDAY: Playing Naruto Pathfinder Conversion. Be a True Ninja! Wednesday- AVALON WEDNESDAY: Playing The Wildly successful pathfinder game that we've been running for a real long time now. Thursday- GUN-TOTING THURSDAY: Playing a tabletop RPG of my own design, Gunsmoke. Be a space cowboy in a world that takes inspiration from the Trigun anime. Friday- SD GUNDAM FRIDAY: Another Pathfinder Conversion, this time play as an SD Gundam in the medieval era. Based around Sangokuden Brave Battle Warriors, Knight Gundam, and Musha Gundam. Please let me know if you're interested in gaming any of these days!

So I don't have any photos to go with it, but we haven't done an "Adventure so Far" in awhile, so here goes! After running into Keenan and losing Selax at the bottom of a Goblin Monastery to Mark Helmsworth, The party returns beaten and bruised to the Tavern, where a Ninja ambushes them. The party finds that Momo and Eseurience (controlled by Nomzy)are in fact out to assassinate Mark, and decide to join up. The party is attacked by terrible visions of Hell on earth and return to Avalon, with the Men of Iron Guild in tow. They arrive at the city, and their visions bear truth, the land is scorched and scarred by hellfire, and the city looks like hell itself is growing out of it. They gain access to the city and are ambushed by an Army of Barbazu. All hope seems lost, but then Mecha Hungry, The Men of Iron's giant mechanical T-Rex, leaps the wall armed with 4 huge cannons, carrying an Adamantine Golem, and Spike, one of the highest ranking officers of the Men of Iron. The party beat back the barbazu forces, gain a level, and head into the city. Having a clear plan, they split up from the Men of Iron, taking support from Sonic The Hedgehog as they fight their way into the City Proper. They arrive Finally at the Gates to the Castle, where Momo and Eseurience have found a way in. They meet an Archangel who reveals the true name of Bitey, the Skeletal Gunslinger, to be Sir Arlenwea, and urges the party onward, telling them they must destroy the World Divider, which is allowing Hell to bleed into the Material Plane. The party finds a rather sassy Barbazu, and tricks it into opening the gate, and we leave our heroes at the entrance to the First Layer of The Seven Hells, where they must fight their way down and rescue their friend's soul, and stop the World Divider. In addition, Kagura went 1v1 with many foes, later being joined by Dertien (sly_nobdy) and Aisha (earthdivine), fighting their way through the gauntlet and earning the party some bonus rewards to ease the pain of being gold starved for 2 levels. They received 1000gold, a single +2 weapon of their choice, 600 platinum, and a single magic item of no greater than 10,000 gold pieces for defeating the lesser version of mark that had stolen the soul of Selax. And on Wednesday, our party will delve deep into Hell, and try to save their friends, their homeland, and maybe even the entire World.

I have tons of shitty phone games! Puzzle and dragons: Earth's favorite game Kritika: awesome dungeon crawler/fighter DBZ Dokkan Battle: it's DBZ and its fun and it's awesome Fantasica: it's every phone card game in one Soccer Spirits: one of those games where the appeal is anime girls, but it's so much fun, oh my god. Implosion: AAA iPhone title. Super good arcade dungeon crawler XCOM EW: it's the whole Xbox/pc game, on mobile. Plays so good. Mecha Ace: a story book game where you take the role of an armature pilot and fight in a war to save humanity.

@DZD it is amazing and you should join.

There are also still open slots for anyone that wants in on this insane joyride. There are 5 players, but only 3 need to be present to play, because people shouldn't have to miss out because one person didn't show up. Also people that miss out on sessions don't lose any rewards either, because people being at mismatched levels is no fun. Game time is every Wednesday at 3pm, Central Time. Now that we are in the meat of the campaign, here are some of the house rules in using: Escalation die from 13th age, to step combat up a notch. Mooks from 4e, to speed up combat but also have bigger battles Derivitative of the City Builder from Kingmaker (a pathfinder module), to give players a bonus Also things that are allowed for characters, we are already using most of these: Gimmicky characters that Re skin abilities Custom race builder up to 10 points (or more with a level adjust) Custom classes and class archetypes Custom equipment

We are taking new players! We play every Wednesday, but we could use more players to make it a bit larger and fill slots when people miss! Thanks in advance guys.

Not sure Nanotrasen is up to digitizing material items as a technology yet, just bluespace, but i suppose its pretty similar. OMNItech gear, its essentially just a handle, but you can take other OMNI compatible gear and it will store itself digitally inside the handle, and you can swap items on the fly through a single piece of equipment. OMNItech has a limited capacity for items, and it has to fit the category of the OMNItech gear itself, such as OMNIweapon, OMNItool, etc. It could be a non roundstart item that science can research, kinda like the bag of holding except its a specific item rather than a backpack, and slightly easier since it uses digitization rather than bluespace. PROS Can carry more tools (An OMNItool usually has a weight limit on items, for SS13, maybe 3 or 4] Allows for some items to be fast swapped not all items would be OMNIcompatible, to prevent hiding particualrly dangerous tools SEC could get an OMNIweapon, to hold multiple security gear items such as the taser and stun baton as a single item to carry more sec gear. could have half your toolbox as a single item as an engineer CONS Electronic items would share a single charge limited storage space to prevent misuse cannot store tools and weapons together (not really a con though] If lost or stolen you could lose up to 4 items someone could find a way to grief with it, though the item is made to be conveinent, rather than a game changer there's little point for the OMNIweapon, except for code red when security needs to be properly armed, but engineers and scientists could benefit greatly from an expanded storage space with something like this, not that it seems very necessary since we get the job done well, this would just be a good conveinence item.

As far as hiding bases, it would probably be best (and make sense), if the Z-levels reset everytime the holodeck was turned off, and any items inside would be immediately ejected with the player. Atmos would be annoying for sure, unless you could make it match the holodeck's main z-level at all times, and as far as antags hiding, wouldn't hurt to keep an eye on the holodeck to make sure its not on randomly, maybe have monitors to view the holodeck's current mode remotely.... thinking more on it, is there a way to make damage non-permanent like the holodeck is supposed to do on another z-level? and then there would be the matter of items leaving the holodeck disappearing, though i think thats a thing already. This would be a pretty cool thing if we could get it going smoothly. Also might make the holodeck computer more easily accessible to prevent grief and make it harder to defend, in case of said base use, and on that same note, though this is probably impossible, dealing damage to the holodeck itself could damage the programs if they are on? like as the floor panels in the main holodeck take damage, more and more spots in the program rooms start going to static and acting funny. though thats more of a "later on" kind of thing, I don't even know how this would all work, as I can't code for crap.
-
Ok so this is probably way out in left field, but i just had a thought. WHat if the Holodeck's different holograms were actually their own Z-levels? Like you set the room to say, the beach, and rather than having that tiny little space, you go into the holodeck and it is a whole area of beachline and sun, with doors at the boundaries to leave, and if the holodeck loses power, you get popped back into the correct Z-Level. Potential applications are boundless, as you could make a holo-thunderdome at full size, sports stadiums, even small adventure programs? I mean this whole thing is pretty out there, but it's a thought. If it goes through I wouldn't mind making the maps myself, I'm a bit of a retired spriter.
-
Honestly if there was a casino, it wouldn't technically have to be nanotrasen. It could have its own station on its own Z level, maybe have a shuttle or gateway access, though it will probably be a bad idea for some reason or other.

So since the Wednesday game falls on earthdivine's birthday, the game will be moved to Thursday. I'm a derp, sorry guys!

I remember that checkpoint, I suggested it initially. As far as real world is concerned, it makes perfect sense, but in the meta, it could be dangerous. I had originally intended the checkpoint to be a way for sec to do their jobs, as medbay has a ton of activity.

That should be 4 for you i think

REJOICE MORTALS!~ I am here to run a game of DnD or Pathfinder, for your amusement! I will be running in either DnD 3.5 or Pathfinder (Whatever you guys want), and the campaign will be an actual complete campaign, made by yours truly a while ago and it was quite popular, so I have ran it with multiple groups, multiple times! So um yeah, pls let me know if you wanna play guys! -Excerpt from campaign: In the country of Avalon, King Aaron Lionheart has ruled for 40 years, peacefully. While not starting any wars, his country's defenses were onsidered the best in the land, and none would dare attack his nation. However recently he has been murdered by assassins, rumored to have come from Serta, a neighboring country ruled by a gold-hungry monarch. You are farmers, hunters, and tradesmen from a large farming community of over 2000, the largest in all of Avalon. Goods from the town of Thresh are high in quality, and very popular, espeially in the Capitol city of King's Mount. The town is owned by an enterprising Farmer named Borus Freehill, and everyone works for him. The pay is good, and housing is free, and the Tavern cures all ills against their Foreman. It has been a week since the King has been murdered, and his son, Vincent, took the throne. A caravan of soldiers has been patrolling the country, going from town to town and city to city, raising morale, and recruiting for the new King's army, to take vengenance upon the nation of Serta for so carelessly walking to war.

Well this sure took off. You could even make it so the syndicate has illegal cards, and if you emag vending machines they could spit out fake cards. Could also do cards for mobs and enemies like the blob and monkey, and special rare cards like meteor shower and a fake Meaty-or shower.
-
Thats why it's all simple cards, with only 2 values. Simple cards, simples games.

I've been putting some thought into the library's list of stuff, there are books and dice, and even poker cards, but what about a Nanotrasen collectible card game? Not with any defined rules, I think, because it would be better to have cards with something like HP/ATK or ATK/DEF, and the players make up rules as they go, and then could write the rules for whatever kind of game they make and put them into a book, increasing the library's usability. For what I was thinking for cards, make it as simple as possible, so you could re-skin a poker deck with ease, description and all. Could even leave cards hidden all around the station, so that if someone wanted to find, say, rarer cards, they would have to ask around or something, though this may not be the best idea. So if the cards were all Nanotrasen based, a card could look like: Scientist. HP: 5 ATK: 2 And then maybe some cards could have little special abilities tagged onto them, nothing too specific, so that it's still easy to make up your own rules, like Shitcurity HP:10 ATK: 4 Opponent must discard 1 card when this card is played. Of course this may not be a card, if anyone is interested, feel free to leave feedback or make up cards, or even a generic stat block for cards.

So I've been working on a planet gunsmoke rules system, using 2d6 and poker cards (because that's why Vash has a bounty), it's designed to give players a taste of the world without being involved in the anime or its plot (though Vash is in the game as an event, but the players never run into him. There is a mechanic where a whole town starts rioting and hunting for him if there is enough evidence of his arrival). And I was wondering if anyone would be interested in checking it out or play testing? If there is any interest I will post the game docs I have done. Features: Over 9 career paths- from bandit to doctor, and steampunk to outlaw. 2d6 combat system- use guns and lost technology to fight. Poker cards- collect bonus Action Points to spend by winning a poker suit. Skill and trick shots- defeat your opponents with special attacks from aiming behind your back to richocheting bullets off walls. Lost Technology- Explore Gunsmoke's past through artifacts from the past. Immersion- all 12 major cities from gunsmoke are described or not in rich (or no) detail. (WIP)
