  1. Maybe Blueshield should have a different job in nations then. Merc that ONLY defends maybe? Could be a good way to counter sec raids. A single "niche" gamemode shouldn't stop a job from getting balanced. If it does cause problems the gamemode should be changed.
  2. Farming drone would be cool. Might need some slightly changed laws though.
  3. Wait, why does botany have morgue access?
  4. That can be fixed by giving them plenty of ammo. Maybe reduce the autolathe cost as well.
  5. How about adding a new drone type too? Mining drone. It could keep the station supplied with ore during longer rounds and give any miners a friend.
  6. Not my experience. Also, a major problem with xenos rounds is if you don't wipe them out extremely fast you just get steamrolled. Best you can hope for once the xenos start getting out of control is a drawn out last stand or an ERT evac.
  7. The xeno AI/borg either needs to go or the xenos need some HUGE nerfs.
  8. He does unless he gets more ammo.
  9. Also, he needs some extra ammo and a SWAT helmet.
  10. The karma will come. There are three things you need to do for karma: Be an Effective engie/atmos/medic. Doing a damn good job WILL earn you karma. Be robust. Killing an entire nuke op alone WILL gain you karma. Roleplay extremely well and have a FUN character. No matter how well you roleplay very little karma will come if you have a boring, or even worse, enraging character. But even after doing these, you still need to wait. It will take time to earn it.
  11. .....we do have sprites for that....
  12. Having a few lil bots to help mine or collect ore would cool. Maybe even a tweaked mulebot for fast transport and pushing ores into one large pile. Also, what about adding mining drones? They would help give any miners some company, provide ore during longer shifts (When the other miners have gone SSD, died or buggerd off to space.) and reduce the maint drone spam.
  13. On the topic of nerfing neurotoxin, internals, hardsuits and biosuits should all provide protection from it. Aliens really need a few nerfs and by the time any sizeable ERT unit gets to the station they just get massacred or slowly picked off.
  14. It depends on the warden, whether or not they want rid of you quickly or if they decide to brig you for 30 minutes for the most trivial of offences. How the great engineering strike started.
  15. Yeah, that is always hard. If you manage to unlock a few try asking if they would like a specific power tied to their job, such as no breathing for an atmos tech or jump for security. Also, talking to the CMO and getting him to distribute powers works very well.
  16. Plus the only people who would ever get the powers would be the geneticists themselves. It is already bad enough.
  17. Yeah, its a pain having to refill it every five seconds. Problem is still giving the janitor a job.

    New Medbay

Maybe you could add a run down version of this to the derelict! It needs more area and supplies, the current one is just too barren to be useful for anything.

    New Medbay

Having that much glass would work much better. Might need to add a few biohazzard shutters to make it secure enough though.
  20. Would it look any good if you replaced the black with silver?

    New Medbay

Christ, even as an atmos tech with whatever medical supplies I can beg for I, I always make sure to scan the wounded and patch them up a bit.
  22. The CE dress might need some more silver.

    New Medbay

I really fail to see why we need an entire new medbay. The "greytide" is hardly a problem and makes medbay much more interesting. Plus even with your design it would probably still happen. The current medbay looks great, works well and is very interesting during rounds. I can see a few problems with your design. Biggest one is size. Its layout means any wounded have a hell of a trip from the lobby, medics have to run all over the place for supplies. Everywhere is pretty much hidden from view. The old medbay is often a complete hive of scum and villainy and that's with most of it visible! Traitors would have a very easy time killing people. The entire medbay seems very shut off and separate from the rest of the station, the complete opposite of what you want. RnD is built like that and it works quite well but for medbay it would never work. Chemistry being connected to medical storage works well and is very interesting gameplay wise. (biggest one is using it as an airlock when chem sets itself alight) If someone asks for a medkit in the lobby they have to leave their workstation and walk some distance to the storage and back. If they want to give them the medkit directly they have to walk around the entire medbay! Surgery suffers the opposite problem of being too visible. The glass wall down the middle makes fighting and surgery itself suffer. CMO office's is waaay too easy to sneak into. Biosuit storage is even more closed off then the old medbay and would probably be forgotten/a great place for antags. I cannot fault you for the paramedic office, it looks great and very functional. If that could somehow be worked into the old medbay it would be amazing.
  24. I quickly learnt to ignore ANY atmos alerts in toxins as an atmos tech. The damn nerds can fix it themselves!
  25. Any Vox that tries that is a dead vox!
