"Hey Rsik, you wanna head out for a game of murderball later tonight?" "Oh shit, sorry man, I would but I have a scheduled bar fight with Asrair. Maybe tomorrow?"

On Discordia, where miners charge you thousands for minerals, with research you can effectively make it so that your laser gun can go from getting a couple extra shots to making the gun recharge over time with better and better power cells, and I think such a system could work well in paradise - the only problem I see is that mining is more or less forced to work with Research and currency is useless + how scarily fast RnD can be maxxed / near complete making it less of a hassle to get these legendary power cells.

I understand that point of view but you just cannot apply it to paradise as a server. I could, as an assistant, break into science, and start working on toxins or xenobiology (mind you extremely dangerous research if put in the wrong hands both IC and OOC) and very few people would care(Source : Have done this before several times). The same goes for employees calling heads of staff curses and the like - if your boss did something stupid, you wouldn't call him a walking, talking pit of human feces, would you? No, but because of how roleplay is enforced here, you may on paradise - sometimes, with no IC repercussions(however a warning / ban may be coming your way if it isn't entirely IC). As well as every other department. I've seen shaft miners throw hissy fits when scientists aren't always at RnD regardless if it's completed or not, and I've seen scientists curse out miners for not getting all / a majority of the minerals 15 minutes in the round. Shitters are everywhere, and antags are naturally drawn to departments like atmospherics (technically engineering), science, and security for either the possible mayhem or gear that can generate from these departments. Some others like supply and service don't experience it too much, however if you've ever played QM or Bartender, you will be able to recall a story when after leaving unattended for less than a minute, you come back to find everyone's partying in your backroom / supply office.

If this is a procedure that applies for everyone then I'd be fine with it, but /just/ security seems a little off, in my opinion, medical gets shit, science gets shit, service gets shit, supply gets shit, so why should security be special?

Yeah its kind of dumb that after killing them you dont even get their gun, at least in the wild west you can loot their armour and weaponry.

I'll start with the three I play the most often - Domitia Aquila - Loud-mouthed goblin Douglas Pierce - Formal chatter box A.Q.U.I.L.A - Cheap knock-off

A system sort of like baystation where theres a chance to have a derelict like a crashed survival pod or another ship in the sector, instead the gateway has a chance to be inhabited. A few ideas I have - Research Outpost(No Tspiders) - RD, scientists, barkeep, chef, miner (or just RD, scientist, miner) Research Outpost(Tspiders) - Same as above, maybe different changes in gear. Xenomorph Gateway - Syndicate agents, security guard, engineer, barkeep, scientists, possible DS (but perhaps with just the armour) Wild West - Survivors(the ones "in the vault", could be spread across the map), Syndicate agents

+1, construction site is touched too little nowadays

The ashdrake was either lured or chased a miner back to the mining station. But lavaland's difficulty can be combated with things like goliath hide plates(?), ash drake bone armour, bone weapons (iirc bone axes do the same damage as a fireaxe), and other things. But I'm not gonna deny that it is unbelievably hard (at least for me) because of the fact that TG and paracode are pretty different, namely your bones don't get broken in one hit from a megafauna on TG, and paradise spessmen cant run as fast as TG spessmen.

After quite some time of being bannu'd, and in general, not getting antagonist, I finally have another story to tell(In addition, I changed the title so it's more inclusive, #ImWithThem). I'm a roboticist, and a vampire, too. Objectives : 320 u of blood, kill a scientist, steal the hand-tele, After I get over the feeling of butterflies in my stomach, I get to work. I work a bit as a robo but mostly spend my time in maintenance. Some guy wanted to be borged, so after I borged him, I took his body and went to le epic secret maintenance room, where a civilian in plague doctor garb(hereon referred to as PD) saw me, succ'd, and walked a bit in maintenance. This is where I found Lumpy sucking on a guy, so I walked in, introduced myself as a vampire, and we were about to succ on the guy, but he starts pleading for his life. I feel a bit guilty, only take a sip, and me and Lumpy let em go. I walk a bit, find PD and a guy named Sully arguing. Sully tries glaring PD, but it doesn't work because both are vamps. I tell them to both knock it off, and try to find more people in maintenance. Succ a few more people, get a few more powers, etc etc. Now, I met the mime in maintenance and someone she tried to succ (they were cuffed). I helped take off their headset, disabled suit sensors, and we both succed on the poor guy. I welded that room shut to make sure no one would go to it, and we went along our way. After a bit of walking about, not really getting much blood, me and Lumpy found each other and decided to prowl maintenance together. Eventually we found the mime, and made a plan to get the tele-armour, which Lumpy needed for his objective. In addition, the scientist I needed to kill was idling so with the help of Lumpy, kidnapped and succ'd him. All was well, all objectives met, and the shuttle was called. I succ'd on a clone, headed to the pods, but it was welded. I unwelded it, stepped into the first tile of the pod, and the pod rocketed off. I fell out of the pod, and into space. LITERALLY just 3 seconds more and I would've greentexted. REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
