I agree with NTSAM they are meant to be dangerous and scary not fluffy little dogs that you hug and play with. honestly I feel like xenos should be made more dangerous but then again I was one of the people who liked the old xeno rounds.

Personally I feel having a few more antags on high pop rounds would be nice since they are just so out numbered most of the time and would help your complaint. but as for karma for playing as antag? no that is a terrible idea with many many downsides and very few upsides. sorry mate.

Why not allow glasses to be adapted for kidan too wear them as hats, so ether they can wear a hat or glasses. Sure they won't be very good miners and slightly worse security but they won't be terrible at so many jobs. plus fighting them won't be as simple as aim the for the eyes, you will have to take a second to see if they are wearing glasses or a helmet and adjust your aim accordingly. -
That's what this sounds like it's trying to help solve. Not in the best of ways but it can be worked on still. If they have some sort of job that requires them to be a little more active then it would work. Disposal pipe system would be better off gone if you REALLY want cargo techs to work Not sure you understood what I was saying in my last comment. whether you make cargo more complex or more interesting to make stuff, That stuff will still never be used because other departments have everything they could want for the entire round and have no reason to come to cargo. so if you REALLY want cargo techs to work we need to give other departments less supplies so they have reasons to order from cargo.

It sounds quite interesting but honestly this wouldn't change much, all it would change is chemistry and what cargo techs actually do. the main problem currently with cargo is that they just aren't needed, everywhere spawns with more than enough equipment for everyone. The only thing anyone ever goes to cargo for is for the materials that the miners come back with and some stuff that isn't needed but they want.

I still like the idea of them having good passive armor but they should have penalty to armor from worn equipment so a kidan wearing full armor will be close too the other races in the armor. also it makes sense since the armor is made for the other races which wouldn't fit well and would be like wearing armor on top of armor. -
Well personally I prefer the mule bots, you get more feedback to whether or not it arrived. Also if a bomb goes off somewhere, your never quite sure whether something you mail is going to reach its destination and having a backup plan is always good.

So currently Mule bots are a bit crap especially compared to posting something. So I suggest that we: 1, Fix the fact that they don't know how to get to engineering. 2, Add robotics, escape and arrivals to their destinations. 3, give them the ability too scan for crates which you can tell them to load and deliver to wherever remotely through your PDA. Or if this is a bit much just allow you to put them at the end of the conveyor belt and make them pick up crates from it which will have a similar effect. Any other ideas?

I feel that if the QM does get a pet it would have to be a small flying one that can't block your movements or move crates because I've had animals in Cargo before and its really annoying with them moving crates and blocking you all the time. And don't for the love of god let them in the mail room you will never get that package delivered. p.s they all died by a mysterious masked gentleman with a crowbar. Chill dude, if you keep making a ruckus like this people will start to reject your posts simply because they want to see you rage. also don't change the thread name because people wants to talk about stuff like this, who knows the idea may grow on people.

maybe we could give them less blood than other races so that losing a limb and bleeding everywhere is an extremely dangerous thing. also couldn't you give them stronger necks so its closer to other races?

I would love this but I feel it would be better making them like the old cloning plants in botany but with mutated tangerines. imagine being killed and then waking up as a giant tangerine, the horror! or the greatness if your a weird person. ether way they need to make it in somehow, even if its a tangerine invasion event.

I feel like a research upgrade would fit this nicely, a nice new satchel that collects ore automatically it would make a great present from science.

Give us more karma to spend each round

I was also thinking higher but since the karma shop currently has about 440 points worth of content in it, the amount you would have to play is just too high especially when you consider that most rounds on paradise are 2 hours long and the fact that they may add more stuff to the karma shop at any time. -

Honestly in my opinion I feel the karma system needs something to allow everyone to earn karma at an reasonable pace since a lot of unique things in the server are in the karma shop. say, every 5 rounds(maybe less) you would earn 1 karma just from the system meaning you would need to play over 2000 rounds to get everything from the shop and lets be honest nobody wants to play 75 rounds just to get the machine people race, meaning that giving karma is just as important without it being a huge gate from content. plus it will have the side effect of making people want to play more on the server to get what they want sooner. -
Personally I feel that the race check may need to be under the click drag menu (you know where you take items off people) Where you closely inspect the player for a second or 2, in order to avoid those very few times where a antag gets caught simply because they know your race even through masks. Also It wouldn't really affect the doctors who need to know what race their patience are.

I'm always up for more interesting races and instead of being able to put one in the backpack why not just have one fit in the backpack slot, like its holding onto your back or your giving it a piggyback.

I like most of these changes, makes a nice change to them and makes them more unique.

I don't think they should seizure when they are low on power, but maybe slur their words. that I think would be kinda funny. I feel like seizures should be more of a too much power thing, like if you could overcharge yourself to move quicker or something and random seizures would be the downside.

I honestly don't know why they removed this and not just nerf it, like they could ether be stunned when they die and/or take away their ability to vent crawl. that way they could survive 1 thing that might kill them(like a bomb) but if someone is actively trying to kill them popping out as a stunned nymph won't really help much and it would give back some of their uniqueness. also am I right that the nymphs don't have the disadvantages that diona does like, the whole heat and light thing because that's a little odd.

Like the idea of the tanks in med but I don't like the idea of the rest of the stuff, its sort of makes dealing with vox brainless and takes away from their uniqueness.
