  1. Threw a pair of cat ears in disposals, where they belong, after spending half an hour trying to destroy them through sheer concentration. Next thing I know, they're popping out of a pipe just as I was walking past. The curse is coming to me, I can't escape it, but I will never give in, no matter what anyone tries. But dang, this is some good and funny art you've got right here. I like it.
  2. Let me preface this by saying that drawing like this is an entirely new area for me and I've never really put much of an effort into any other drawing before. Perspective, shading, all of that? No idea how to nail it right. With that out of the way, this is what I have done. I thought to myself, "What can I draw? There is no way I can draw people yet, but I want to be able to put my own spin on it." That's when it hit me. I'm no stranger to nitpicking the design of the welder in this game. This is not to criticize the spriter, they did pretty good and it looks just right. It's just that...it's a cutting torch. So I decided to create my own interpretation, and I will now explain it because some of you may be trying to figure out how to interpret whatever the heck I just scribbled. The welder itself is a mixture of a MIG welder and cutting torch. It is then connected to a wheel of wirefeed, which is used in MIG welding to provide filler metal for the joint. Of course, the filler needs a shielding gas to protect it from that nasty oxygen, otherwise it will be too weak once it cools off. The welding fuel tank attached to the wire feed drum serves this purpose, but it also can be used for cutting. The user switches between the two modes by pushing the Nanotrasen logo on the side up or down. In Welding mode, the fuel is redirected into a chamber where a focused beam and some space magic turns it into a shielding gas for the wirefeed. Also, I do not have a pen, I do not have better paper. Just letting you all know. Anyway, onto the art. Look upon my works, ye mighty, and despair. Like I said, this is all entirely new to me and I genuinely have no clue how to do much of anything related to drawing So please, if you have feedback, I want it.
  3. Hey, I think I've seen them around a few times while I was in medbay! Also, looks like that new program works pretty well for you.
  4. I think I've said this before, but you draw these species in a way that makes them feel truly alien. Bravo
  5. I gotta say, I absolutely love how you're drawing these aliens, especially that Vox from a few posts back. If it wasn't for how they behave in-game, that definitely would be my mental image of them.
  6. Provides plenty of room for moving around without making it feel empty. I like it.
  7. That's pretty neat right there. Have to say, though, the placement of the console and circuit fabricator is creating a really nasty chokepoint. Really like where surgery is, can get up to more nefarious schemes back there... Also, where's the sink?
  8. It's a well known fact that spacemen are mentally incapable of understanding signs. Citation: The amount of people that slip on wet floors.
  9. I hope this is the lucky 13 (thirteen) (1*13)
  10. Might not be as big a deal as some other things going on, but I'm still showing ace/aro pride this month! Good art too, as always!
  11. Greatest philosophers of our time.
  12. Series: Jupiter Model: Panoptes Serial Number: 1984 Core Type: Organic Brain Shackle Compatibility: All legal lawsets Personality Compatibility: N/A, unable to install personality modules during or after manufacturing, default personality used Risk of Rampancy/Malfunction: Low (suited for long-term operation) Primary Purpose: Indiscriminant surveillance Recommended Operation Location: Small, non-vital space stations About this unit: In response to wave of terrorist attacks across SolGov space, the Celestial Project was initiated, with the goal of creating an artificially intelligent construct that can process large amounts of data in order to catch potential terrorists before they strike. The project was successful, resulting in the Jupiter series of AICs. The Olympus model, the high-end AIC of the series, is capable of monitoring multiple cameras at once, gathering and sorting all data acquired, and analyzing the data for potentially subversive activities. The Panoptes model does not have this functionality, but it is a much more affordable and sensible option for non-critical operations, like small research stations. Other Notes: Due to the restrictions of using a functional brain for its core, unit is incapable of multitasking and performs considerably lower in performance benchmarks than fully synthetic AICs. OOC: The categories on this sheet may change over time as I figure out what should be on here. I think this is the first time that this has been done, so there is no template for me to follow.
  13. Doctors: Anyone who doesn't wordlessly steal your patients That's my medbay dream team. Honestly, got a hard time coming up with names, because no matter how good someone is at medical and/or how interesting they are to interact with, everyone's names(according to my complete lack of being able to remember who anyone is) are about as memorable as everything about my characters.
  14. Wow, you really are putting together a Super Security Team! Feels like they could all be from the same image!
  15. Aw yeah, another art thread! Can't get enough of these!
  16. Would you be able to elaborate on this, please? As for my pet peeves, we've got a list Engineering doesn't have much going for it Tesla and singularity are braindead simple to set up Gases don't really do anything interesting(I prefer what /tg/ does, where you have multiple gases that are created through certain mixes and heat levels, and you can also perform nuclear fusion with said gases) Station's so jam packed with stuff, there aren't that many places that can be renovated Newcrit is frustrating. Haven't done much with it, but baymed offers a much more realistic and in my opinion, interesting approach. Cloning is absolutely essential and should never be permanently removed, but there should be some kind of balancing factor, just to make the rest of medbay do something for serious injuries, instead of just letting them die We figured out the optimal path for R&D so long ago, now it's just a chore. With a techweb, we have a lot more freedom in the route we take and can make decisions based on what the station needs Gold slime cores. Just everything about them Wizard rounds ending right when the nerd themself dies. Karma roles have a heavy focus on roleplay, which is why they're locked behind the karma mechanic. So why are the space pod roles, which have actual special gameplay elements beyond roleplay, karmalocked? The USSP lore is a joke. Going back to Bay once again, the lore for their GCC is everything I want the USSP lore to be. Deep, interesting, and with more thought put into it than "Haha, country created because they can't drink as much vodka" Poly Genetics is just boring The way Vox(Voxes? Voxae?) speak. Barging in wordlessly and doing someone's job for them, ESPECIALLY if they're trying to learn it for themself. These people are the scum of the earth. And yet, this is a server I consistently come back to.
  17. We could use these to reach numbers like 1! HELP ME, GORDON!
  18. I have five(5)(5*5/5)(sqrt(25)) quirky things to say!
  19. Hi, glad you're having fun here! I tend to go for those departments, too, as they are pretty fun.
  20. Can't explain why I think so, but this is some pretty nice art. Keep up the good work!
  21. After getting rid of some aspects I didn't feel were working out, Rebekah Hunter is now an Immortal Amnesiac Cyborg.
  22. They're all so good! I genuinely like your art style!
  23. 5 minutes after the shift started(miner), immediately ran head first into a goliath and a legion the moment I reached a tunnel. Didn't notice the tendrils until it was too late.
  24. Not pictured: The shuttle I was trying to hijack.
  25. Should mention, credit goes to Drake for the portrait! They did a really good job!
