  1. Trust me, you don't want to see your own notes. If players were to see them, I guarantee you that there would be OOC or PM arguments/outrages/braggings over how that thing they did back then shouldn't be on the notes, or how all that shit they've done isn't on their notes. The last thing an admin needs is to have a rule-breaker not only argue about that rule he didn't break according to himself, but also over his own notes and have the admin get mocked/insulted over the lack of noted down activities they've done if they were done.
  2. Hi there, I think I've had you heal me up a few times, if that was you, kind of difficult to keep track of the shorter Vox names, they're all too similar to me.
  3. I totally approve of this idea, but the cigarette vendors already dispense two hawaian or something cigars, that can last 2 hours of being lit, if you have a coin. I suppose more cigars could just get added to the coin-option, if this were to be seriously considered.
  4. also the advanced mop cleans twice as fast, but can only be used twice after being wet, instead of the five uses the normal mop has. So it's probably better to use the regular mop. Or you know, space cleaner.
  5. Take notes, Arthur, this is how you NT Rep.
  6. XENOS ARE DISGUSTING SCUM AND MUST BE ELIMINATED AS THEY ARE A SWORN ENEMY TO THE GLORIOUS HUMAN RACE. ALL HAIL THE EMPEROR.
  7. Honestly, filter everything that starts with a shortcut. It shouldn't be there, usually, anyway.
  8. Oh god, Adr. Mercy.
  9. Like Mice being able to be eaten by Tajarans? I'm so down for that.
  10. As far as I see is a Detective coming across a wall being deconstructed by Engineers, in Engineering.. Exposing only Engineering to a maintenance tunnel, not Medbay, I don't know what you guys were talking about regarding that. Anyways, Detective came across that, didn't appreciate the seemingly unwarranted deconstruction of a wall, then probably received reports of an Engineer or whatever stealing from Medbay, while seeing you build a Surgery Table at the same time. Connected the two dots together and shot you, thinking you were a threat. Then dragged you off, found no evidence and brigged you for the two things you did not, under any real circumstances do. You did not steal anything, as they had no proof of theft besides hearsay and you did not trespass, as you had access to both maintenance and Engineering. The arrest was more or less justified, given the Detective's possible situation, but not the brigging. What they COULD have arguably brigged you for was some form of misdemeanor or whatever, acting without orders. Some bureaucratic crap like that. Definitely not theft and trespassing. Some security can be a real pain in the ass. Jesus. Where's BUPistrate when you need him.
  11. Your suffering was not in vain. Well, it was, because BUP is an asshole. I also never really got to interact with you besides the torturing, which only made Khar look like a doormat, so, it's a shame he's gone and I won't be able to do shenanigans with him.
  12. It's an inherent weakness of telescience - it's dangerous. If you were to remove the danger right off the bat by spawning a counter to it, what's the point of it being dangerous? It'd be like if atmos spawned with a functioning and set up cooling loop or all of station equipment spawning with fully upgraded parts because it's a bother to upgrade them all. If that happens, what's the damn point of even having R&D or atmos techs? Everything's already set up by the game itself. Sigurd has something like this in telescience, where it has a cooling loop set up for it which minimized if not eliminated the danger of the hot air and pressure. And it sucked. Because it's as if the fire and plasma and hot air had no purpose to be there anyway. On top of this, with the new buildable coolers it's possible to build your own cooling system in telescience, negating the negatives of it, but not because a mapper put it in, but because you did it. It was your hard work that caused it to happen, not because you were entitled to it and got it. Making the map fix the downsides of telescience isn't the answer, YOU making them yourself in the game is.
  13. That only adds to their race. I see no reason why Tajarans couldn't be, due to RP reasons, become a full blown cat of a head. Besides that, I'm pretty sure Tajarans are carnivorous and that mice would be nice snacks.
  14. Similarly to Kidan eating Diona, I mean, they ARE cats after all, it'd only make sense. Tajaran just feel completely incomplete without this feature, I mean come on guys.
  15. Personally my fashion choices were mostly more about the practicality of it rather than style, like looting sunglasses from maint, fire helmets, magboots if I'm feeling even more powergamey, welding masks and so on, but I could never say no to some good fashion if I'm playing a role with little relevance, like Civilian (One of which had a dress code that was all the hacked items from all 3 of the vendors: jackboots, tacticool and bear pelt, none of which are now available to him, so he's a sad slime.) or Barber, or whatever. I really don't know why you would remove hats, shoes and jumpsuits from people. I mean, from our uninformed player perspective, it just seems like you don't want us to customize ourselves, I don't know what kind of issues having access to green shoes were having, or fedoras and fezes, or pink jumpsuits. God-forbid Kei gets his blue jumpsuit and Alissa gets to look like an abandoned hooker. Besides that, you actually kept the AutoDrobe - the ONE vendor that had less customization and more costumization. It seems really weird, since we can dress up like a Wizard, Witch, Magistrate or get a ridiculous WH40k priest outfit or a Plague Doctor outfit, but PINK SHOES?! NEVER! This seems like you didn't want to reduce or remove the ridiculousness of the outfits, but rather remove the ability to customize the.. default look of a player? I really, really don't know what this change is all about. Maybe Fox/whoever saw the extra 3 vendors as irrelevant since they were meant to serve the same purpose as the AutoDrobe in his mind, maybe it was something else, either way, we don't really have a reason, so we're all unhappy. Except that one guy who voted no. Who was he? I'd like to know.
  16. Currently there's a bit of a downside to many of the station's equipment, some very important, such as the borg/mech recharge stations, the microwave, cryo tubes, cloning pods, gas freezers/heaters, SMES batteries and probably several other rather detrimental things to the station. All of those things listed are not buildable (except for cloning equipment) nor are they upgradable OR destroyable. What this means is that they are all working off the basic components, like micro-manipulators and basic power cells, which means that they are very inefficient and there's nothing anyone can do about it, because there's no way to BUILD new better ones and there's no way to UPGRADE the current ones either. What I suggest is adding circuit boards to those items and making them all buildable and/or deconstructable, so R&D would be able to help everyone out by providing upgrades to the SMES, microwaves and cryo/cloning equipment and others. This would allow the station to improve in efficiency as the shift goes on and as R&D does their job. This would make the borgs', chef's, Engineering's and Medbay's jobs easier, as the clones would come out more perfect, cryo tubes would heal faster, borg/mech stations wouldn't take 5 minutes to charge them and the chef would be able to make more/better food. I honestly don't see much reason why this shouldn't be implemented, as everything else can be upgraded, but not those things for some unknown reason.
  17. You're the best borg ever! I love having you around!
  18. You bastard. As if Hawke doesn't have enough things after him already, like gnomes, rubber ducks and ghosts. Sure, let's add Triad Syndicate members to the list, WHY NOT? I'm SURE he'll be fine. He's like a magnet to weird, random shit.
  19. Hi there. I have had some fun times with you. c:
  20. Or buffs, really. Right now being the Alien AI is nothing more than spamming announcements or being a scout for the xenos, which comes in handy at the start but can vary greatly in usefulness, depending on how the crew acts. So I have a suggestion: what if the Alien AI could hack APCs similiarly to a Malf. AI and gain access in the area the hacked APC affects? I'd suggest the hacking to take a while so as to not be too overwhelming. In addition, to prevent the Alien AI from shutting down the station's AI immediately by hacking it's APC, the Alien AI should be able to only start hacking APCs from the edges of the station, the outer ones, and be able to only hack APCs in adjacent areas to already hacked ones. This would actually allow the Xenos to be more sneaky, allowing the AI to shut off the lights before they engage, etc. AND the Alien AI wouldn't have to spend half the shift trying to think of ways how to use the words "asshole" and "satellite" in a single announcement in new ways. cough
  21. I didn't actually explode there, it was the IAA and another scientist whose name I forgot who blew themselves up. He made like five or six bombs and planned to have the station held hostage and when I noticed all the missing radio transmitters I got parapen'd and decapitated by him. Meanwhile the IAA was ALSO a traitor whose target was the same damn scientist with all the bombs, they got into an epic energy sword duel and the scientist blew up his own bomb near the wall. It was fun to watch. It was not fun watching 2-3 people not pick up my head after seeing it though. You know, I've never seen an accidental Toxins explosion or fire while in research, in fact I barely see anyone in Toxins when I'm in research. It's fricking deserted except for a random hardsuitted Engineer trying to break in sometimes. Do I smell or something IC?
  22. Hey fellas, you might know me from the server as mostly Hawke Boetirson - the "mentally stable" guy who you probably noticed at least once shouting over the radio in all capital letters. I've been playing on this server for over 1.5 months now. I started playing SS13 about a year ago or so, mostly in Apollo, took a long break of about half a year or more, came upon this server and decided to stay for a while. Exposition aside, I've been really enjoying my time playing here and am not planning on going anywhere, so I've decided to finally involve myself in these forum things. So, basically, hi and see ya around the station. Watch out for dem yellow gnomes though.
