  1. that is fucking delightful.
  2. I got into a car and was eaten alive by a 10 year old and a bionic dogcop, both zombies. I tried to move but I had my seatbelt on.
  3. eh, you'd get used to it.
  4. My first game I spawned as a survivor with no traits/defects and no skills. I tried to spawn in a cabin in an evac zone but it didnt work so I ended up in the ass end of the forest. I ran around chasing a squirrel with a pocket knife for five minutes before killing a krek that had injured itself with a land mine by pelting it with rocks. Then I stumbled across some corpses, looted them and was torn apart by a zombie gas operator.
  5. Maybe a couple of yellow evidence markers that notes down coords? Maybe something similar to the wet floor sign projector?
  6. ...point taken.
  7. 5 years ago it was known as 'ovary station' because it was symmetrical and looked like a set of ovaries. That was 5 years ago. Doesn't look like symmetrical ovaries anymore, does it? The Map as is isn't optimised for the features and playstyle we have now.
  8. it's a softsuit, they're supposed to look fat and bulky
  9. Shouldn't be too hard to code, and I imagine spriters (and some aspiring spriters) will love an opportunity to go nuts spriting stuff that'll better customise their characters from the setup.
  10. Goon has this system where instead of having facial hair you'll have two detail slots. This allows you to combine beards (e.g a white goatee with a black dwarf beard gives the impression of a beard greying near the mouth), but it also allows spriters more freedom when it comes to adding things. Colour streaks through hair, tattoos, piercings. I quite like the idea of facial bandages.
  11. Ponies said in OOC a while ago to make a thread about Detective and Coroner to make them more dynamic and interesting. Noone's actually done it, and I wasn't going to until I had a GENIUS IDEA. Photocopiers should make photos of an item on a black background if an item of normal size or less is inserted. The Detective should get a photocopier that does this AND prints out DNA/Blood, Fingerprints and Fibres found on the item. The Detective's scanner does not lose the ability to scan items that'd be dumb. HOWEVER, having photos of individual evidence would be extremely useful for a Detective with half a mind for filing and organisation.
  12. I'm not 100% against the idea, we can alter the fluff if it's obstructing RP.
  13. Change the Cargo Ordering Console to be more of a vending machine that you order specific items (and QUANTITIES) from and the Cargo guys can accept/deny each item, reduce the quantities etc. This is obviously more complex than it sounds since you'd need to come up with prices for individual items but it'd be much more convenient than ordering an entire art supplies crate when all you want is the camera. In addition, they should have all the vendors. All of them. Maybe even a Protolathe + R&D Console. The RD already has the ability to restrict a console's access to the RnD database anyway.
  14. give the vending machine to cargo
  15. can we get some sprites in here please
  16. but i like the colours
  17. I didn't actually know that.
  18. civilians are individuals why are you trying to make them conform
  19. except i'm following logic already within the game. Brains don't suffer ill effects from being cloned or placed in an MMI after extended periods of time in a dead body. Attempting to defib someone will specifically announce the heart is too degraded after long enough, and if you do heart surgery and zap them, they'll be on their feet again. also watching those two animes spin out of sync with eachother is making me very nauseous.
  20. nope, it's all in the heart.
  21. Idea. Pros: You are always defibbable Cons: EMPs kill you instantly which is hilarious.
  22. grey triggers violence in the wearer. It's due to a chemical used in the manufacture of the suits, there have been studies on this and everything.
  23. I like rainbows.
