Virologist already has the Pathologist title. Forensic Pathologist could work.

They Spawn in the Morgue, and are tasked with Autopsies and Morgue Management. It will be a mostly brainless but slow-paced job. They start in a suit and lab-coat, and must record the cause of death of every patient, keep a list of everybody who comes into their morgue. They will alert appropriate departments that their comrade has fallen and retrieve assets/possessions and distribute them back to the departments that are supposed to have them. They keep a watchful eye over the Morgue, if any morgue trays go green, they drag the body to cloning. If the morgue starts to overfill, they take care of body disposals. The Legal way would be to inform the Chaplain. Can be very useful to the Detective, Security, Command (for managing how many of their staff is still alive) and Medical. They may have access to other parts of medbay so they can fill in as a Doctor, but I wouldn't require that.

I'm inclined to agree with Mechanic, but (and this is rich coming from me) i'd rather have a karma barrier for sec pod pilot, because I'd rather that security was filled with officers first and the pilot last as opposed to the pilot first and the officers last.

Give every Request Console the ability to ping drones to their location.

Plasteel was renamed to Platsteel and requires iron, coal and platinum to be manufactured. Platinum can only be obtained via the leech drills that you bolt to the ground, and even then whilst you might get like 60 diamonds, 500 plasma and the like, you'll only get 12 platinum. Only reliable and effective way to get platsteel now is Xenobiology.

make it a Doctor alt job. Spawns with a labcoat and a suit. It makes sense because the Psychiatrist is useless unless security deigns to bring in a suicidal prisoner/patient, or someone actually roleplays with them. In the meantime, to prevent SSD or suicide themselves, they can busy themselves with medical work.

although getting billions of cells to form a solid object sounds more like it'd be a thing that happens in cloning than virology.

I've never seen mass of bacteria so dense it forms a physical object. If you have this idea and replace all mentions of bacteria with BEES then we have something awesome.

We just want to know IPC is being worked on, the time it takes to do so isn't as much of an issue.

yeah, i prefer the Gygax too, but i've only used it for xeno fighting and policing.

Health Analysers (NOT the medical scanner in your PDA, but an actual health analyser that comes from a medkit) can tell you if bones are broken, if limbs are broken, if there's brain damage or internal bleeding as WELL AS how many healing chemicals are in your patient. So if you see 160 units of tricordrazine in your patient and they're taking heavy tox damage, you'll know they've overdosed. Though it only works for healing chemicals, so if someone's overdose on hyperzine you're stuck scratching your head.

I would approve of this change if Roboticists weren't selfish bastards who openly prioritise their own durands before the needs of security. because fuck the police i guess I always ask for a gygax as HoS or Warden for my officers to use, and i've never got it. The only person I know who freely hands out mechs to security is Hawke.

I'm not massively hit by this change, but it did strike me as a bit odd, and I've never had a massive problem with gygaxes having lethal weapons. Especially since roboticists seem to massively prefer Durands in the first place.

an economy system idea isn't new. The problem is we only have two (maybe three) coders to work on it.

why does this need to be a karma role and not a civilian alt title/job like the surgeon/nurse are for the medical doctor It's already in the code.

We already have Masks and Constructs that between them, both do exactly this.

I'd like some plants that botanists could plant that are low maintenance and pretty.

Maybe as an Advanced Module that has to be researched and produced at research.
