  1. Blueshield has HoP access but without the ID card. It's unsuitable for their job. They don't need hydro, kitchen or chapel accesses. They should have basic engineering access, though and perhaps RnD access, since I find it hard to protect the CE and RD since they are consistently walled off by my accesses. The Blueshield similarly does not need the HoP headset. HoS headset would make far more sense.
  2. More drone variety would be wonderful. I'd play a mining drone. Give even fewer shits than maint drones.
  3. It's a nice idea, but it doesn't work considering people who are that angry OOC don't become afraid OOC later on because they're behind a computer. In addition, security is very busy and you have to watch over people who are in 'the cooler' and you don't always have the time to spend.
  4. Are you adding a security checkpoint into medbay? It's the department with the highest traffic, and a security presence is often appreciated as opposed to tolerated. Give the CMO the ability to close off the sec office so medbay isn't totally helpless against a Brigston early cap in Nations rounds.
  5. I do not want monsters in mining, dying alone ignored and irretrievable on the asteroid is not fun.
  6. ...but you're the one complaining about ore pickup. I'm just suggesting making mining less clicky.
  7. Should Machine People be immune to Neurotoxin knockdown? It seems that it would make sense that Machine People would be immune to the stuff, but on the other hand it's a cornerstone weapon to any effective alien's arsenal and making an entire species immune to it could have a pretty drastic effect. Could. On the one hand, if an alien can corner a machine person it is deader faster than anyone else, even if armoured (and every time I get blasted with neurotoxin as an IPC I always lose a limb). I do sort of like the mental imagery of an IPC walking down a corridor with guns akimbo just firing down a hallway, a praetorian shooting neurotoxin at him and his arm or leg is ripped off but he still keeps shooting as he screams "FUUUUCK XENOOO ROOOUNDS". Just an idea.
  8. I really like the idea of a repair mode. Two Minutes lying down and they're all fine (unless they're missing limbs). They can also be repaired as normal by a friend.
  9. That's what ore crates are for, Zgun.
  10. This is already a thing for Mining Cyborgs, but could it be coded that if you have a mining satchel in your active hand, you'll automatically pick up ore if you move over it?
  11. Lobby should have some chairs, tables, vending machines and newscasters.
  12. Was it strictly necessary to reduce them from 250 unit space cleaner bottles to 50 units? Even with a full-sized bottle, there's never enough space cleaner on the planet to cover the huge debauched messes the crew spawns on a regular basis. Not to mention that it's pretty much harmless to give drones a full-sized bottle.
  13. Why not have a body scanner in cryogenics?
  14. You do not have anywhere near enough knowledge to be a head of staff let alone a mentor.
  15. Yes Sohol, but that relies on my stack of rods not being full.
  16. I don't believe in freedom of religion for Nar-Sie cultists. Cultists, if left to propagate WILL ruin your round.
  17. I loathe not being able to drag rods somewhere out of sight.
  18. I have absolutely no complaints with any of these.
  19. I don't know if glasses are invisible on IPCs via glitch, but it's a good glitch because glasses would look ridiculous on IPCs. They look even MORE ridiculous on greys, however, the human eye level is not the same as the Grey eye level, so any kind of eyewear is sitting squarely on the Grey's forehead. It doesn't look good, it looks really strange and terrible. I'm not suggesting this as a permanant 'fix' for it, just a temporary one until some kind of system can be put together so glasses look sensible on greys. Any balance issues that could come from having a race you can't see glasses on are negligible, as demonstrated by Machine People.
  20. Social is a bastard AI to fight.
  21. However, this is offset by the fact that machine people take MORE damage from brute and burns than anybody else, and have a higher chance of limb loss. Including head.
  22. No It is NOT the message you get when you are fully healed.
  23. I have been badly injured and trying to weld mangled body parts with a welder to get two clicks in before being hit with this OH&S nonsense. It's a hassle and pops up inconsistently.
