  1. You would say that Fj45, anything to do with atmos and you're sold! If you want a "cold room" then this is something the mappers can possibly add, but that part of the station is heavily congested I'm just not sure where there would be room.
  2. Basically a sleeper without chemicals. Should be very easy to code, the question is - why?
  3. Usually, just the valves to supply N2 and O2 to mix for air.
  4. The Harani have desert/tribal/asian clothing. About the only "fanservice" ingame is overly wobbly boobs, which is especially apparent when talking to female npcs, as when they rotate to talk to you... meh.
  5. Fj45, he means if the filter second output (in his example a filter set to N2) is over the pressure set, will it stop any gas from flowing out the first output (because it contains N2)? I'm going to assume yes, but this could be tested ingame with a few canisters.
  6. I found the lore quite interesting actually, but I did play four different races to level 20, so I got a view of the history through inherited memories. It was only after this I realised the main splash art for the game is actually the 12 people of the expedition who found the source of all magic, who became legendary heroes or gods.
  7. I event went back to playing Alpha Centauri the last few weeks because I'm so hyped for this.
  8. There will be a total wipe from beta to pre-release. Whilst I'm excited about playing this I am not buying into the head start or pre-purchase packages, they just aren't worth it in my opinion. I was wondering who else will be playing? Unusually for me I don't have a group of friends to join, so I'm quite free. I had great fun during the last closed beta with a Battlerage / Witchcraft / Shadowplay build. To clear up some presumptions people are having about archeage? Is it pay to win? No, pay to get cosmetic items and convenience items (which can be made traded/ingame anyway), subscribe to be able to own a plot of land for a house or farm, and farm crafting materials / insignificant monetary/xp pouches more often (known as labour points). Class restrictions? Each of the 10 classes (of which you can equip three at a time) require levelling up seperately, but you can swap them over for a small fee, which is 2 x level in silver. At level 30 this was ~ 10% of my total wealth from questing for swapping all three. Race/interaction restrictions? There will be three factions (two currently, not sure if the third is coming out in release). Each faction has two races. Each faction starts on it's own continent and shares a language with other races. To communicate with opposing factions you must learn their language, later in the game. Races from the same faction crossover naturally at level 10, I am unsure as to the level when you start crossing continents but I suspect it's level 30 or higher. Focus? There is a huge focus in archeage on large scale guild based pvp. Guilds can buy huge plots of land, build castles, then rent/lease the plots of land for their members, which can then be assaulted by other guilds. Player structures exist in the world permanently as part of the scenery, which is an interesting take. Yes this game is a western adaptation of a korean mmorpg, but by being "westernised" it's far less grindy, and far more fun. Combat A standard tab-targeting mmorpg, which uses a very fun system of combos. Most skills have additional requirements when met give added effects, for example: Deal 100 damage, if the target is slowed, stun for three seconds. Slow enemies around you Strike a stunned opponent for extra damage, increasing your critical chance to 60% if you are beihnd your target By casting slow from the second skill, you could combo the first skill to stun, then run behind them to combo the third skill for lots of extra damage. Because the classes are not set, there's lots of room for combinations. Having an assassin/healer with a shield is more viable than you might think. Summary: It's not pay to win, it's pay for cosmetics, land ownership and faster farming for crafting. You can enjoy all aspects of the game with a single character. Combat combos are a refreshing experience, and the content is kept challenging enough to punish you if you don't chain your combos together.
  9. No, the closest you'll get to this is the kerbal engineer, but for docking alignment, it's incredibly inefficient, i've needed 40x the rcs fuel I normally require to dock with it (part of the original code which means you can't alter the amount of rcs thrusters or their force, they're either on or off, resulting in a lot of wasted gas). It'd be nice if you could fly a "repeat mission" where you've already flown a ship, docked it, and saved the mission, so it can be repeated autonomously without needing your interaction as you said, for fuel shuttling. Then again, the many fuel generating mods eliminate a lot of this. I have used kethane (a lot) but am looking forward to trying karbonine next time i go play ksp. Combine it with extraplanetary launchpads, and you can mine resources and construct your rockets/ships on other planets or in orbit.
  10. Habalabam, all of what you hope from a successor is already possible with mods for ksp, so you should check them out.
  11. That's a nice idea stephanov, I was wondering if you could do a flowchart for treating the patients too? What takes priority (e.g. if bleeding out, inaprovaline, blood in, surgery to clamp bleeders, and only then dealing with the actual damage).
  12. Virology guide needs the symptoms updating to my changes. Atmospherics could do with all the new features I added recently see viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2255
  13. neca proved his total ksp dominance over me in admin chat a few days ago, and I thought I was above average. This game is great, It's one of my most played games of all time.
  14. I'd love super-extended rounds events where we reconstruct/repair the engineering derelict for hours. Give lots of crew Engineering access and equipment, people contribute to mining too, see what we can make. Admins slowly and randomly assign traitors to people during play who have to cause, minor at first, growing amounts of specific sabotage.
  15. The good news is, the backup system is improved so there'll be much less loss next time a rollback is required.
  16. TR;DR can someone sum this up in one sentence?
  17. It depends who's on and whether admins are aware of it happening really. Some players are more aware of these sorts of shenanigans than others.
  18. Flashbangs now enable throw once primed, so you just use the flashbang in your hand and click where you want to throw it - much simpler.
  19. I think the problem is non-antags causing so many minor crimes. As soon as people stop causing minor crimes, security will perform much better.
  20. How to fix blob round: Make fireaxe head's dissolve when they strike the blob.
  21. The point is, you're not, the pipe is not going under the wall, it's going through the wall. I may add the option to do it under later.
  22. It's more of a WIP, it doesn't use an object, you simply use the pipe on the wall, and it pops the pipe on the wall tile for you after a delay.
  23. I have a working version for walls and reinforced walls. It'll be added when ponies makes a new build. If it works as expected in live testing I'll add the same functionality to putting pipes under machines.
  24. I could make an advanced T-Ray scanner, which has a greater range. Maybe make it a R&D or limited stock item.
  25. So, recently I've come across the realisation that 90% of the work involved in most atmos alterations/repairs, is that you have to deconstruct a wall or a machine to place a pipe underneath it. So my proposal is to have an item that will squeeze pipes under walls/objects, without having to deconstruct them first. This should be easier for straight pipes (waste and atmos), though if I can get it working it should be able to be extended to electrical cable too. I haven't even begun to look at the code for it, but I wondered how useful you Engineers / Atmosians would find this? EDIT - renamed title to better reflect how it works.
