Autopsy code is insane enough as-is, and for that matter, broken enough.

I'm pretty sure head revs can be exiled or sent to the labor camp to count as a failed rev head. If not, probably should, the heads and rev heads should be on equal ground. And as for your other points, those are covered by escaping from permabrig- if they insist on resisting, execution is allowed. Neglect of duty was one of the worst parts of the old space law. The specific phrasing you have there can be pushed extremely far for things that really aren't a problem. "This includes a medical doctor not healing patients (Individually or as a whole.)", so, if I refuse to heal an injured guy that keeps punching every medical staff that gets near, I can be arrested? Or, perhaps, a patient keeps stabbing themselves, I'm expected to treat them under threat of arrest? "Engineers not setting up the engine", this isn't worth being arrested. That's just going to cause more power delays. And, that specific phrasing could reasonably be interpreted as "if they decide to setup anything but the singularity for power". "Security getting drunk in the bar" It's not helping anyone if the officers arrest each other for 10 minutes just for going to the bar. Antihol exists for a reason, officers don't necessarily need to be stalking maintnance 24/7. "Among other things" is extremely vague.

Pinatacolada, um. That's already a thing. That's, uh, exactly how z-level transitions work, actually. They are assigned to a cube layout at roundstart.

This.. was literally a thing a month ago. Lightbulbs told you "why would you touch this" if you tried to touch it with a bare hand. That was changed to this.

... Davidchan, do you understand how byond works at all? A lethal hellmix isn't going to lag the server so much that the daemon crashes, that is extremely rare. At worst, a max size bomb will lag the server for a minute, but that's standard for gibbing a bunch of mobs in the same place.

We've uh, had Ouija boards in the code for literally months now. I don't think any admins have ever spawned them. It was pretty unanimously agreed that letting the chaplain speak directly to ghost in any circumstance is going to end badly.

Not feasible. Our underwear system is in a mess right now. It would have to be fixed up first.

I'll note here; the reason it has so little functionality is because it was fully designed around just being in space above telecoms forever. As for the random derelict things- the major problem is fitting the ship on the z-level. It requires a lot of space, the ship is bigger than the engineering outpost. Another problem is that the shuttle system isn't built to handle random travel like that, and it would require poking a really touchy system. Using it as an emergency shuttle- well, centcomm is already filled to the brim, and it would be difficult to find space to contain the ship.

I did want to do this at one point- but Europa is currently making improvements to the tram system, and I kinda want to wait for them to get done.

This is a terrible idea, because of one word: Engiborgs. Ten minutes into the shift, every bit of maintenance will be covered in cameras. Go to cargo, the crates are plenty big.

Should be != Will be.

Wasn't there a thread about this before? Which was immediately told that it wouldn't make a difference at all, because LINDA is here to stay?
-
Um. I'm pretty sure he just wants switching to combat mode to include a chat message "hey this mode isn't spaceproof".
-
Well, since this thread got bumped anyways, should point out; The spellbook stuff made the mass-summon spell no longer give people antag status, and add a spellpoint for the wizard. So it's an optional challenge.

I believe there was a bit of misunderstanding on my phrasing (and looking back at it, I can understand the misunderstanding and apologize for my phrasing). I didn't mean that the mechanic in SS13 was meant to punish people. The original mechanic from D&D (which is what the SS13 mechanic references) was what I meant as being in place to punish people for trying to break the game via recursively-infinite storage. Given that a bag of holding would always weigh the same regardless of contents, it was possible to carry an entire continent worth of loot without ever increasing your load beyond the first bag (thus circumventing encumbrance). Thus, the black-hole mechanic was implemented, more as a deterrent than an actual punishment. You typically don't do anything you are told is going to kill you unless you are gonna die regardless of doing it or not. C'mon man, this is just not true. It's there as a reference, that's it; there are countless ways to code out this sort of recursion that don't involve creating a grief-fest singu. Why is punishing or deterrence even necessary? Just prevent the recursion from even being possible in the first place. He just explained what he meant- no, it's not to prevent recursion in SS13. It was, however, made specifically to prevent recursion in D&D, which the item is a reference to.

Not feasible. That's all I can really say about this, it could be a good or terrible idea in practice, but it's not going to happen. The turret gunner thing is too complicated with pod code, and I don't think anyone wants security to have 2 pods, considering that some still want the pod gone entirely.

I have too many fonts. Edit: Hardly in the wanted style, but whatevs, just wanted to make one

Unless it's broken, pressure/contents of pipes does affect ventcrawling mobs. Xenomorphs are pretty much immune to pressure. Try being a monkey.

We actually do have a human language but it's not actually given to humans.

bay12 did this for a while then decided they needed to nerf it with suit-changer-things when bay decides to nerf something, it probably isn't going to work on our server sorry.

Spaceman, that isn't necessarily true. Crew is not official defined anywhere, it is just standard practice to define it that way. The AI is fully free to define it however they see fit, from "everyone wearing a uniform is crew" to "ONLY THOSE ON THE CREW MANIFEST ARE CREW CHANGELING OR NOT" to "crew is people NT hired, if their contracts are invalid, they are not crew"

Asimov has major flaws, it's designed to have those major flaws. Making the AI protect all humanoids is an absolutely horrible idea, and you haven't even taken into consideration what a 'humanoid' can be interpreted as. In the broadest definition of the word, it means everything from normal crew to vox raiders. They all have the same rough shape. If you go by sprites, even xenomorphs could be classified as 'humanoid'. Of course, in the least broad sense of the word, the AI can just out every non-human person on the station. Tentacle frogs and giant cats definitely do not resemble humans.
