  7. I forgot to add this in a prior changelog so here it is. Captain's Display Case Implements /tg/'s display case burglar alarm: if you break a display case by hitting it, a burglar alarm will trigger in the area of the display case. - This will cause a fire alarm effect in the area and bolt down all doors, and will send an alarm message to all alarm consoles/AI's/cyborgs similar to motion alarms. This should make stealing the captain's antique laser gun a bit more tricky. The captain's display case will now automatically have its fingerprints set to the captain when they spawn. Onto this patch Telescience Telescience is Dead, long live Telescience. Telescience has been replaced with the EXPERI-Mentor Telescinece is STILL in game, however you need to rebuild the tools for it rather then having it round start. - There's a lot to say about the EXPERI-Mentor, but I wont go into the specifics here as there is a manual in game for it. Syndicate Ship Places the air tank in the wall and increases the amount of vents from 4 to 6 Adds in the actual skeletal bar Puts teleporter building instructions on the teleporter console Adds in 3 turrets to the syndicate ship--two in the front and one guarding the enter/exit door. - Want to try to meta if there's nukies or steal their shit? Too bad, you or your pod is going to get chock full of lead. They don't shoot at actual syndies, of course. Borg MMI brain's can be taken out by anyone now. Once a borg suit is fully constructed, you can use a multitool on the suit to debug/configure the borg being built, before a MMI is inserted. You can name the borg, disable/enable its lawsync, choose which AI its slaved to (or prevent AI sync entirely) if the panel starts off unlocked or not, and/or if it starts off locked down or not. Basically most of these feature can be done after a borg is made, via the borg's wires--so its' really just a matter of convenience. Chemistry Patches max volume is now 40 as opposed to the standard pill's 50. Patches transfer reagents to the person at half the efficiency of pills. Skin Penetration now works off of the amount of clothing worn and the type rather then a flat amount being transfered regardless. Spray Bottle's have been changed - Makes the amount of reagents in the puff scale with the maximum range so that if you puff it on the same tile as yourself and it procs all 3 times, it'll be equal to 5 units rather then 15 for 5 units of the Reagent. Sulfuric acid deals a little brute and burn instead of purely brute. Fluorsulfuric acid deals burn instead of brute. Radium cannot irridiate you past 80 rads. Other Changes Pipenet has been completely revamped so it should be MUCH smoother and less laggy now.

  9. While it is very calm compared to the stuff we really look for, it's best to nip it in the bud rather then let people keep pushing how far they can go, which would be harder to do if it's an ingame mechanic.
  10. I would love more non combat mechs, along with more noncombat modules, though the biggest problem is WHAT they would be, as most of the departments are already covered.

'MURICA Guns Renames all guns so they use less generic names Adds the Mini-UZI submachine gun Adds the ARG Nanotrasen assault rifle Adds the Liberation Station vending machine and truly patriotic gear. - Vendor can be found on the admin station. Refactors some guns code so it allows for burst fire, and adds action UI's to automatic guns to switch between firemodes. Adds the tactical reload feature: if you attack an automatic gun with a magazine, it'll replace the magazine currently inside of it. TEMPATURE GUN CHANGE. Backpack Instead of backpacks being limited by the amount of slots they have, they'll be limited by the total weight class of the items contained within the backpack. This means that 7 coins won't fill up your backpack anymore; you'd be able to place up to 21 of them in your backpack. This doesn't mean you'll be able to cram in a ton more guns into your backpack; the weight class limit of regular backpacks is still 3, and with a max weight class of 21, that still means you're only going to get 7 moderate sized items in your inventory Head of Security Sergent Araneus has taken up residence in the Head of Security's office. There are three modes, off, basic, full. - Off, is obviously, off. It does nothing. This is the default setting. - Basic, for unathi, enables the S extensions, and for tajaran, enables the "R" extending. - Full, for unathi, enables the S extensions, alongside replacing "X" with "Ks". It does not currently do anything extra for Tajaran. Misc. Selectable tail system is in, currently only for Vulpakanin's. Disposals piping has been fixed and the Cargo transport system should work now. Protolathe can reclaim materials other then metal and glass, minor fixes to assure the system cannot be gamed. Add's a progress bar to the Lightning Bolt spell. You can now kick racks to destroy them. Tech shells no longer use Silver to make. Mining Outpost has been remapped.
  15. The stutter disability is based on actual stuttering in real life, not the kind that shy characters use, which is what you see it used for often. It will be far far more irritating compared to t-t-typing it out like this, I assure you.

  19. I think our issue was the Segway was a first attempt by Ponies, not a port of anything at all, so original code issues and all that. We can probably port over TG's and use them.

This is a big reason why I myself do not use rejun or gib when dealing with people, I use subtle message or just blantently ask someone to do something for me as it's a whole lot more believe able then gods divine interference. Also because the last time I rejuv'ed someone the crew immediately screamed ling and threw him into the furance.

  22. Arrivals always been, and will always be Camp free zone. If you see people camping it then Ahelp it as that horribly shitty to do. The hallway past it is kinda free game though, it's an grey area at best.
  23. Also stop giving karma to the admins. We get everything for free, show your appreciation by not breaking the rules, not givin us karma. Most of the admin team is at the top of the karma chart. Give it to others, not us, please.
