Malpractice bay 2.0 or WTF are you doing with my organs?

Not too big a fan of the revisions. I will note that you claim the SoP was "built from salt" and yet this whole post sounds like it's based on salt from a round you experienced. Gygaxes are dangerous as hell, even without weapons. The fists on combat mechs can do a shitton of damage + stun and knockback, so they're always lethal. As an aside, I'd love for there to be a more dedicated engineering mech that wasn't just a repainted Ripley with a few different equipment choices and fire resistance. An engineer in a mech would probably want to get to breaches quickly, and have a jetpack/thruster module built in to the actual mech itself (Which is technically already in game, and is used by the centcomm mechs + the Mauler the nuke ops get), as well as have four or so equipment slots so they could get their critical equipment.

When they had noslip, they didn't slip on anything but spacelube, which was apparently unbalanced and removed. Slimes are likely getting an overhaul soon though so we'll see how that plays out before making more changes.

Viruses, no matter how beneficial, tend to be lethal to Diona, so I'm not sure how that would play out if viruses were permitted to be released airborne.

-1 because netspeak is just obnoxious and should be left to PDA messages, if anything.

make Aranaus aable to be Sic'd on mobs by its master.

Araneus should probably be changed to be a non-poisonous spider, or have an attack that does stamina damage, regardless of any other additions. The ability to do special voice commands, like follow, stay, attack, and whatnot would be cool though. Maybe even the ability to restrain people with webs? Basically make Araneus a pet beepsky with stamina damage. Imagine the HoS walking down central primary with Araneus following behind. Nobody would fuck with him. Also Araneus should probably get a new sprite to show that they're not a standard giant spider... maybe make them albino or give them a hat or something... -
Different antag preference selections for Nuke Ops.

Not to downplay the suggestion, because I support it, but if you roll leader, you are in no way obligated to lead the team if someone else on the team feels they can lead it better. You just gotta toss your ID to another operative and let them take the reins. -
The feature wasn't removed, it was planned but never implemented, I believe.

Maybe like this? Make them kinda cute!

Shroompeople sound cool, but not sure how well they'd fit in with some of the other races here. Not that it matters much. I would like to see more races that are different, and I like the thought of mushroom people (My Floran in Starbound has the mushroom head and is named Chanterella and is the cutest carnivorous mushroom plant person). Pressure resistance and no need to breathe are nifty features, but again, not sure how fitting it is for mushroom people. I'm no mushroom expert, but I severely doubt they'd be spaceproof. I imagine they'd be quite squishy, though, and having less overall 'health' is an interesting feature, rather than simply making them take more damage. For another feature, they could be able to 'root' or something, to let them stay still to regenerate slowly, fixing all their damage types over time, but holding them still until they're at full health. They'd probably only be able to do this in dim light/darkness As a respawn mechanic, the whole planting thing is interesting, but a bit specialized... botany having to grow and maintain them as a mushroom, and rather time consuming too. Perhaps simply letting them revive in dim light if left alone for a few minutes would be neat. Perhaps their brain could be a spore or something that could be planted still, if the body is otherwise destroyed. All in all, cool idea, 7/10 because mushrooms are cool.

NTSAM x Blackmage

Heh, funnily enough, that shift, someone else found the ring, picked it up, and just a few moments before I manifested from it, they walked into the chapel and dropped it. I was expecting to grant a wish of power to some greyshirt, giving them a wand of fireball or something, or making someone immortal by making them a skeleton. Was pleasantly surprised to get a fun bit of roleplay with you guys. The genie did say that he wasn't sure if the Kingston's disease was 100% cured, or would re-manifest eventually, so you could potentially do that, if you miss your Unlikely Tajaran. But, like Counterfeitguise said, you could always write up more stuff with Maxwell as a human. Plenty of fun stuff happens regardless of your race.

Disabler would set this on par with the HoS's gun. I think it's fine with the taser and laser.

As an aside, I think it'd be really simple to add Hollow Point ammo. Simply giving something a negative AP value will make the round deal even less damage through armor, but regular damage with no armor. Setting the damage value to 40, but AP to -50 would make attacking armored opponents hard, but mowing down civvies very easy. At least, I think I read that the system works like that on the TG pulls...

Chaplain's holy sword. Felt it should look a bit different compared to the claymore, so I made it more holy, with Null Rod colours for the handle and a lighter metal colour for the blade. I like crossbows, so I made up some sprites for lots of different kinds of energy crossbows! I'm good at recolouring stuff.

I... We already have an armor penetration system in game, with AP ammo that can be made for the SABR SMGs in science, as well as the Security Autorifles. It works the same way you described in the OP, where it does a listed value in penetration that nullifies said amount of armor. 20 AP = 20 less armor. They've also got Incendiary ammo and Toxic ammo. EMP bullets may be neat though.

This was actually requested before and got shot down, so yeah. I would like it if the Tajarans and Unathi could wear gloves and shoes like literally every other race can now, seeing as Diona, Vulps, Kidan, and even fucking VOX can wear shoes and gloves without having to mangle them.

As the revenant in said round, yeah, I do feel they need a nerf. Window casting is really, really powerful, as is EMPing the lasers away. The movement speed is really powerful too. I do feel that they should lose the ability to phase through walls and move at ghost speed while corporeal. Some other good nerfs would be to take away window casting, at least in grilles, perhaps making holy water tiles reveal them instead of just keep them from moving through them, and nerf the damn EMP so it doesn't instakill IPCs. I actually stopped myself from several kills because IPCs were in the radius of the EMP and I didn't feel like instakilling them, and a few times I didn't even realize an IPC was around when I did EMP.

I always liked the thought of making everyone changelings without any powers but the revival one, so they can always come back from the dead unless decapitated.

New Wizard Spell - Summon Golem Knight
HereticChurch replied to HereticChurch's topic in Suggestions
I could still see people using this. The necrostone requires you to kill someone first to get the soldiers. And those guys aren't that great. Proper golem soldiers that get summoned, with a spell to keep up with their wizard, would probably see just as much use as maintaining a trio of skeletons that depend on the robustness of the wizard, if not more. -
New Wizard Spell - Summon Golem Knight

That... sounds terrifying. My idea was just using the TG's stone golem race, giving them some medieval themed armor and weaponry, and a little spell so they can keep up with their wizard. -

They have a golem spell? Didn't realize it, what's it do? I don't play on Goon very much. -
I think it'd be cool if Wizards could get a relatively cheap spell that allows them to conjure a Golem similar to the Adamantine Golems that has a random set of medieval armor with nodrop + a weapon & shield, along with a spell to teleport them to the wizard's side. Would be a nice way to see a use for the new Medieval Knight armor we got in recently. Probably would only cost a single point, with the new point system going in soon, so you can purchase an army of 10 golems to massacre the station grab one if you've got a spare point after getting your spells.
