I think that would be about what would have to happen for that to work. Just a new title for an engineer really, just people can try to focus their roles a bit more. Regardless there would probably be overlap on everything they do though.

Ya know, just because this frustrated me last night, I've been trying to play Metro: Last Light. But, yet again, with my unfathomable luck streak, it's broken. Anyone know if that's good yet?

Hey there everyone, I'm Iced. Typically going as Icy (Ivy, to some) here. Uh, lets see. My favorite color is blue, I like cold places, yadda yadda. Been active to BYOND for maybe about a week or so now, and it's been a lot of fun. Figured I'd try to contribute to the forum since you lot completely make my recent game obsession fun.

I can't wait for that, it's gonna be so fun with a couple of friends. I've had it pre-ordered for months now heh.

Oh Dark Souls, what pain you have caused me. Even now, with way too many hours into that game, it still causes me distress. Both physically and emotionally that was an uphill battle on my first serious play through. And now, I have about every character slot filled and geared out. We've had our laughs, we've had our breakdowns, yet it all turns out to be fun in the end. Someone save me from this curse.

This certainly is an interesting idea, but, in my opinion, I just don't think it would work given most situations. As it is, most people will just call for engineering in general to come fix any of their issues. To have this work well, and not just be a novelty job, I'd imagine engineers would have to be revamped and have their basic construction supplies taken away. Essentially a new sub-department would be created with the goal being construction around the ship. It's an interesting idea for a job, but I think it would take some tweaking for anyone to care about it. And to having to work on things one may be unskilled with, all I have to say is practice makes perfect. Can't be good at it until you have to do it a few times
