Since ERT can't have combat mode, can they at least get a choice between spawning with the amber/red armor instead of having to choose between an agonizing slowdown on their hardsuit which will leave them screaming at science for red slime potions or no armor at all? No idea on coding difficulty but it would basically be like this Amber - Amber armor only Red - Choice between amber armor or red hardsuit Gamma - Choice between amber armor or gamma hardsuit I don't really know if gamma should get the option or not since all the benefits of their suit kind of outweigh the penalty of the slowdown but then again speed is the deciding factor in combat a lot of the time, feel free to add criticism or ideas.

1 thread that has gone on for far too long -
dunno how hard this is to code but would be cool if we had a feature where if you neckgrabbed someone they would get hit by any projectiles fired in the direction they're facing as long as they're upright just came up with this idea on the discord and thought it was cool enough to put it on the forums

As far as I know, ERT uses the default uniforms for each station department, unless there was a PR which I don't know about to add them in.
-
I think it would be nice if ERT had their own uniforms varying on the role with similar coloration to the hardsuits/armor, for example it being mostly grey/black and having a militaristic vibe to it such as having digital camo like the blueshield uniform or tactical turtleneck. Engineering would have yellow details on their uniform, security having red, medical having white, commander having blue, and janitor having purple. Maybe with some included protection also, about the same or slightly higher protection values compared to the standard security uniform. The ERT having the same uniforms as the crew just seems kind of out-of-place IMO, so I think them having their own unique uniforms would help with identification. Another optional detail that I think would be pretty cool is having the name and rank of the ERT member it's spawned on in the description. I dont know if it's possible/hard to code but would probably be a good addition to the uniform. Maybe I'm asking for a bit too much, but if someone can do it, that would be amazing.

New Karma Unlock - Custom Ghost Role Characters

There is, however it only is able to change things about body markings/hair. -
My idea here for the nuclear emergency gamemode is to make the amount of operatives able to be rolled roundstart scale with population, instead of TC. Sure, you can buy reinforcements more, but that's rare since it feels like you're giving away your TC, plus the fact that you have to spend your TC to properly gear them. There are a few good outcomes I can think off the bat for this. Firstly, it can give more opportunity to improve at nukie, with a slightly better chance at rolling it. Secondly, it encourages more teamwork since you would have less TC to go full unga and have to rely on your team. Thirdly, considering that on highpop, RND is usually maxed out by the time the team has arrived on the station and can throw more bodies at the operatives, the winrate can be more balanced instead of just the six nukies which can be easily overwhelmed by all the crew. It would be nice if I got some of your thoughts on this, been thinking about it for a while now.

maybe it would better to have it deal just stamina damage then, yeah i probably should have included that part.

I didn't want to clog up the suggestions channels by posting each of these separately, so I'm gonna do it in one post. A martial arts holodeck with holographic gloves that work like the warden's krav maga gloves which give temporary martial arts such as krav maga, sleeping carp, and CQC but only work in the holodeck and on people who have another pair of holographic gloves equipped to prevent antag cheese in the holodeck. It would be nice to be able to practice martial arts outside of test servers. edit: would be best to have it do stamina damage instead of actually injuring A type of weaker CQC without legsweep made for NT which could be given to red or gamma emergency response teams, I believe this would be reasonable RP-wise, since i'm pretty sure ERTs are pretty much trained soldiers. I haven't thought too much about the balance implications in this, but I think it would be a nice addition and allow for more ways to fight back in close-quarters other than just a combat knife. Add karma races to ghost roles which let you pick species which should be unavailable unless you have unlocked that specific race, this one might allow for more RP opportunities and freedom on species selection.
