  1. Neil's faxes are 2ugly5me Also, revs don't often go after the rep, I'd like that to happen to me once in a while.
  2. Ah, I remember when Darius and Alice were on the same nukkie team. Too bad the rest of them were incompetent, we were pretty close to getting the disk after I killed the HoS and captain, but you know. Nukkies always manage to blow themselves up.
  3. Ah, Glorious NanoTrasen. I'm surprised you were in power as long as you were. blah blah me being a narcissist you're lucky Alice wasn't there blah blah.
  4. Alice also killed a chrono-ninja, that round. I think she was the first on Para to kill one. Maybe.
  5. Alright, these rounds follow two possible pathways. First; Aliens kill crew. Second; Aliens suck and get killed. It's exceptionally mundane, populated by disarm spam and admins forcing the shuttle to stay behind, effectively preventing the round from ending, despite most players wanting the shuttle to come. It rarely deviates from this schedule, and all in all, the rounds are long and boring for the normal crew, who tend to die, and stressful for security and command. More often than not I end up wasting two hours playing tug of war with an antag, that unless killed within a few minutes of round start, will result in a crushing defeat. There's also the fact that aliens are considerably overpowered, as the crew is picked off for simply lacking something to block their faces (Resulting in 50 xenos to the 20 remaining crew.) Weapons on the station lack enough punch to defeat the ever encroaching infestation, and once you get knocked down, you're staying down. It makes more sense to have xenos as a random event, or from huggers on the asteroid. This allows for a less powerful start of the xenomorphs, and the threat of syndicate agents or changelings on the station. Personally, I think I'm subject to bias due to the fact that these roundtypes tend to stress me out, and I simply dislike them. I'll let you decide.
  6. Did she run away crying? Did you break her heart, Spark?
  7. Damned commies were having some sorta revolution in the bar. I gunned them all down. They sent sooooooo many angry PMs to the admuns about that.
  8. +1'd. Yes plis.
  9. Recently, NanoTrasen Representative has tied with Blueshield as my favourite job (Might've even replaced it.) , despite me having it forever. These are just a few screenshots of my favourite moments so far. The washing of Hawke Boetirson. I faxed CC that he smelled so bad, that it was comparable to nerve gas. He was to be washed immediately. Traitor was killing people. I killed the traitor. This was the round in which Cortical Borers were being tested. Alice managed to get a bunch of un-infected and went into hiding in her office. Epsilon was later called and Alice was killed. This was a fun round. Xenomorphs, et cetera, station died, I escaped to the mining outpost with Nymph. Later on, a pizza delivery boy came and I tipped him with a gold ingot. Eventually Epsilon was called, I teleported into the shuttle with Nymph, who was later killed and then repaired by the DS. I was in crit on the shuttle, almost dead, but I was brought back from the brink of death by Commander Novus Lem, who I then had a lovely conversation with about why naval officers like Alice make better NanoTrasen Representatives than pencil-pushers. My dream of extraction via Death Squad had finally done. While not of me playing as an NT Rep, pretty damn awesome. This is a picture of Captain Zadovsky, leader of a Syndicate Strike team sent to the Cyberiad. My entire team dead, I killed the Chairman of the Board, his Blueshield, a bunch of random security and crew, and was finally killed by the captain due to the fact my softsuit didn't have any armour.
  10. Ultor was my favourite scientist. He always gave Quinn guns.
  11. I agree with this. Civilians that are normally a hazard flock to this sort of thing. I would agree with an Expeditionary Team Leader, or something. I could be fine with Team Leader, I just want to have a gateway specific job.
  12. I hardly think it's overpowered, they proto-kinetic accelerator is very weak outside a vacuum and the softsuits can be easily acquired. The whole reason I suggested this is so experienced players are the ones going through, as well as non-vital roles. (Command and security often make up the bulk of the team, making it so it's much harder for anyone who remains to function normally.) The crew can still normally come, but not the important roles, (Paramedic, Civilian, Cargo Technician are some good examples of team members outside the main 2-3.) I doubt they can really work as security. They aren't loyalty implanted and all they have is a softsuit and a weak weapon.
  13. They could, but it's not advised they do. They also need explicit permission from the team and captain.
  14. Added.
  15. The away missions are quite fun, with crew often flocking to the gateway to join the team. The only problem with this is that it takes away members of security and command to go on these missions. I'd like to suggest a new job, ideally a karma purchase, called Expeditionary Force member or something of the like. Because of the dangerous nature of the away missions, and the presence of a vacuum could lead to sudden death. I suggest that the gateway has a locker with some special softsuits, coloured a dark green and marked with some special symbols to designate the holder as a member of the away team. Alright, so the team has EVA gear, but what happens when they come through and meet the local flora and fauna? They'll need a weapon in the case they're hostile. TG has those mining weapons, for killing the asteroid monsters, these could be useful for our little crew. In the case that those might be too powerful, a combat knife could suffice. Don't forget a seclite! Lastly, our team is going through for a reason, they could have an objective to bring back an artifact, or some other bit of the location. That's the whole mess of a paragraph I've written, I'm open for additional suggestions as how to change it, and I'm going to just summarize everything if it's tl:dr. Ideal karma cost:15-30. Spawn Point: Gateway. Access: Gateway, EVA. Comes wearing: Combat Gloves (They're insulated, same ones as the Blueshield starts with.), normal radio headset, jackboots, and a special uniform. (Maybe just the sec uniform or a NT Navy uniform) Armaments: EVA softsuit, Proto-Kinetic Accelerator, seclite, multitool. Purpose: Explore what lies beyond the gateway, bring back goodies. How many slots?:2-3.
  16. Hi, the captain was me; Alice. It is never a good idea to try to kill a captain at close range (I just used my own gun after I got up and point-blanked you to fuck) and even worse when you try to use nothing but stun shells. Word of advise. Also, going alone against Alice? Also not a very good idea.
  17. Eh, I'll join. Praying for Blueshield
  18. I'd love to play, but the whole role thing seems to be a wildcard.
  19. Your face. Chomp Chomp.
  20. She was the only person even close to the AI, and there were about 4 seconds left due to the fact that the timer was counting down 6 seconds at a time instead of 1. Yeah, I'm pretty proud of myself.
  21. This is a picture. This is the picture of Alice, the Bestshield, after having solo'd an AI. I am proud. I only got one karma though. This made me sad.
  22. I was your Blueshield for a few rounds, and your in-depth character and details illustrated such a wondrous story that I wept tears of joy.
