  1. Regulatory? As in jobs with lots of regulations like Security, Robotics (with cyborgs) and Chemistry (regarding poisons) or jobs that uphold regulations, like Internal Affairs and Security?
  2. If this is added to the mutiny roster, and it isn't a gamemode on it's own (like I suggested), you wouldn't have to do this unless you want to. (I have no idea why though...)
  3. Yeah, just hope someone's willing to do this.
  4. Yeah, the implanted member can choose to follow the mutineer head. (I hope)
  5. Sounds cool, but I'd need to get books first... (what edition is it?)
  6. You might want to change that, forcing people to undergo genetic experimentation or bugger off to a Z-level doesn't sound very fair. (possibly make it a command from a possibly unreliable source, adding it to mutiny, and making a head a mutineer?)
  7. This could be okay if done well, but I have a couple questions: Do the "superior" crew have to obey the command? And the loyalty implant makes sure you can't break the law, but is this a law, and if so, do Detectives, Blueshields and other implanted crew need to obey it, even if it involves suicide? Sorry if I sound a bit abrasive.
  8. A Chaplain vigilante? S-so I can KICK ARSE FOR THE LORD?!
  9. That actually sounds really good! Anyone else got a suggestion? Any coders know how feasible this could be? Any admins willing to do this?
  10. Wonderful, wonderful things!
  11. I'm not sure about that, I intended for this to make antags more unpredictable and creative. Things like an animal rights activist looking to free all test subject animals, a mime seeking revenge on the clown, making an example of them for the mime revoultion or a cannibal surgeon looking to eat peoples organs during surgery would be examples.
  12. Seems fun, sounds like a murderous Vox heist, but it might need to be tested as an event to check how powerful they are, but it would take a long while to make.
  13. Best idea ever! ROCKS FOR ALL!
  14. I think I have a good, simple idea that can make being an Traitor more fun: No Objectives in some rounds. Hear me out here, I think that there should be a small-ish chance (one in five?) that traitors get no objectives for them to complete, they have to make their own up. In the beginning, instead of the usual here's your uplink code and objectives stuff, people can get a message telling them to make their own objectives up. If done well this could make for some very interesting (or strange) rounds, but, depending on the players it could be used as a mere murderboning excuse. (I don't know how to rectify that, does anyone have any way to limit it? Can you tell me?) This should be relativley simple to code in (as far as coding goes, that stuff's a pain) and there could be limitless possibilities for entertainment for the antags and crew alike.
  15. - Chemistry gets a beaded lizard called Tricord that secretes Tricordazine instead of poisons. - Virology gets a pet rock. (That'll teach them to give me a virus that freezes my legs up...) > - Xenobio can make their own pet.
  16. No, a Diona wearing Tajaran skin. (must be a clown...)
  17. Yes, yes you do, I was there, bottom middle (afro and green mustache). I was the clown that round, then other clowns attacked through arrivals, I grabbed my fake katana and toolbox and headed to honour great Cthulhu. When the first wave came, I grabbed my toolbox and smashed some Cluwneskull, broke some ribs and decapitated some cluwnes. Then the mechs came, the mechs knocked us all over with their !HONKS!, then I guy stripped me naked and fell too. That was pretty much the round up to that point.
  18. Possibly, but they are sentient, can't spread far and can be held under !THE LAW! (in the way I think it should be, blob and biomass is bad enough) so if they do that they'd probably be executed. Another mindlessly spreading mass of cells and airborne viruses is boring, let's make a sentient one that can build and bake cookies (without the death, unless you fuck up it's creation)!
  19. Loving these replies, keep 'em coming.
  20. Yeah, but Robotics already has plenty of stuff (could be expanded upon, but still...) and Virology just has antigens and cures unless you're an antag. Plus genetic engineering is fun!
  21. Possibly, but Virology deals with microbe mutation, doesn't it? Maybe it could be joint Genetics and Virology?
  22. Heh, but still, it's the future, we can explain it away as super breeding bacteria specially made by altering the bacteria's DNA that stops multiplying after a certain number (it would be billions, possibly trillions, in the case of the golems, quadrillions, but still) but bacteria are still solid matter. Would it be possible to implement?
  23. Here's a scatter brained idea I had to make Virology more useful in situations other than outbreaks. With mutating microbes and manipulating their RNA with radium (you know, the "mutant strain detected" method) to create a particular microbe that can breed rapidly and form together to become a singular entity (like an adamantine golem or maintenance drone) that can be controlled by dead players. By altering their RNA further (or DNA in the case of bacteria) you can change the shapes they can form together into. The forms I have in mind are the adamantine golem-like one I mentioned earlier, and maintenance drone type ones who can plug breaches and make floors and walls by splitting off parts of themselves that breed (be created) in ten seconds, at the cost of 10% of their health, that regenerates quickly or dissolve them (or living beings) with the same bacteria (that then comes back to them, giving the health back, also in 10 seconds). They could also be affected by hunger, dissolving virus food (nutrient agar?), food and living beings to restore hunger, and they don't have to obey their creators (the Virologist's) wishes (but are still under space law), making it impossible to use their abilities to kill or break (Virology antag is already easy enough for assassinations). If someone could tell me how it can be implemented (if it's even possible) and I will go into further detail. Griefing rules will (naturally) apply.
  24. Ah, I remember a round where B.U.P and Reginald played a prank that almost got Reginald executed by me.
  25. I think a good idea would be to have the Captain, a Blueshield with all access and an ERT that spawns at the round start be there to be impartial and attempt to uphold space law, but they'd need to use the brig and possibly chemistry (if they run out of lethal injections), unless it would be vigilante style space law.
