Maybe Im just salty but it seems like bullshit that some clown running around with a laser tag gun reveals that you have sleeping carp

It's supposed to be inconspicuous , that's one of its pros and when some random guy is bored so hes just running around shooting laser tag guns reveals you when you've done nothing to possible be an antag is able to just reveal you because there no restriction on antag knowledge that kinda goes against one of the main reasons to use sleeping carp, which is that while not in use it's unable to seen/found

Forgive my ignorance, as I've never used or held a sleeping carp. But you getting hit with a laser (or a laser tag in this circumstance) causes it to spawn? I had no clue!

Sleeping Carp is a tator item that makes you unable to use guns, but unable to be hit by them, do more punch damage and get some robust ass melee combos

Edit: and if someone shoots you with a laser tag gun while you have it, it says in red letters "X Deflects the laser, ranged weapons do not work on them" or something along those lines

Ohhhhh! Martial arts scroll right! ok yeah. That is quite the conundrum. You figure you'd be trained to recognize real threats and knowing that laser tag guns are a common thing for crew morale be able to allow yourself to be hit. Perhaps a Toggleable icon at the top left, where they can enable or disable the parry? That way it could even be turned off when rando sec guy may or may not taze / disable you because they are officer hard ass and you don't want to spoil the secret yet. That to me makes the most sense. Making it so they can enable or disable at will much like heat vision for a changeling.
