Has a tendency to be drafted into the medical field, primarily as a surgeon. Though Colten did have one case of being a chemist, which resulted in nearly blowing himself up with various chemicals… A request for immediate transfer to surgery was requested and has never again seen the life of a Chemist. Apart from the medical field, Colten is also known to work in Cargo from time to time as the Quartermaster, only to be later yelled at by various departments.

Biography:

Colten Beach was born to a working-class family on Sol in August of 2516. While he did not grow up wealthy, he did not grow up in poverty either. When Colten was about seven years old, he came down with an illness that doctors were not able to diagnose. For one reason or another, one of the side effects of said illness was blindness. In an attempt to prevent Colten from being miserable for the rest of his life, his parents had the doctors remove his diseased eyes, and place them with mechanical ones. Surprisingly, it worked. After the surgeries were finished, his illness went away. This made doctors believe that the illness was contained only in his eyes. To the present day, it still baffles them.

As Colten grew older, he began to show interest in the medical field, through various readings and lectures he observed while he was at school. As a result, when Colten graduated from primary schooling, he enrolled in a university that was backed by the NanoTrasen Corporation. He was accepted into the university the following year in 2534. While he went through many struggles as a young adult, he eventually graduated with a Doctorate in General Medicine with a strong concentration in surgery. He always found implants to be rather interesting and always favored them.

Upon completion of his Doctorate’s Degree in 2544, Colten went into two years of training with various hospitals on Sol before he was cleared to start his own career. In 2546, he found employment on his home world as a General Doctor and a surgeon, though he always got away without practicing general medicine. In 2555, NanoTrasen became interested in Colten as a surgeon aboard a newer research vessel called the NSS Cyberiad. While at first Colten was hesitant due to his fears of going into outer space, he was eventually talked into it by the Corporation.

Doctorate’s Degree in General Medicine, with a concentration in surgery – 2544.

Mechanical eyes. Known cases of anxiety and alcohol abuse. The latter, according to Colten, is used to treat the former.

Approximately six feet in high with light brown hair. Eyes are now mechanical, as they were damaged as a child. Has a “Watson” styled mustache that he favors due to an older character in novels from centuries ago.
