If making them not bleed internally is too big a buff, you can add a counter weakness by making them take a load of damage and get a really long stun and be unable to talk clearly for a short time (slimes dont have "mouths" or if they do they are just there to blend in and dont actually have a function. According to their lore and just release vibration from their bodies to talk)  when affected by drying reagent. Dont make it a 1 shot but make it to where if you get affected by it youre pretty much a fish out of water and if an antag wants to kill you, youre dead once this happens since youre pretty much powerless except to scream gibberish over the radio.

Honestly I really like the tg Slime people. They don't have 'blood' persay, but rather slime jelly that is innately toxic to other carbons. Toxic reagents and food heals their own toxin damage, and they can generate more blood by eating lots of food. The catch is, their blood reacts poorly to medicine and chemicals that normally cure toxin damage, so things like Charcoal, Omnizine and Pentenoic Acid are extremely dangerous to them. Normal Anti-toxin medicines purge their jelly and if their 'blood' levels drop to low their limbs start to pop off until they are  nugget on the floor.

I rethought this.

Slimes bleed that gel colored to their own skin but when IB happens instead of blood it would cause toxin damage due to the shift in blood balance. This prevents slipping during emergencies and keeps IB. Also maybe make slime people not attacked by hungry slimes but still angry slimes or when the slime person causes harm to the slime.

Slime people are genuinely fine how they are. I see no reason to change them. Sure, IB makes no sense logically. But that's no reason to entirely rework their blood nor other things about them to essentially needlessly nerf them.

Big -1.
