Originally was about to post this to the screenshot thread, but since it became long, I'll head this here as its own!

Year is a-changing, which means it's the time for me to unload screenshots from past time. I'll advance in order of topics.

Starting with the most relevant and important phenomenon in space, that is goats, of course.

Spoiler

- Randomly met goat

goats2.png.54567045405c5fe4ff0fe99e80a1ff8a.png

When G.O.A.T.'s station-saving activity was once visible. Guess Steve was involved in leakage of industrial secrets this severe.

And the appropiate response by the station crew.

For second, one clown and one greytider, the heroes that the station needs each shift.

Spoiler

Don't remember whether I already posted this, but here he is - Bobo the Clown, the lone survivor of an eight-legged apocalypse, to be chanted of for times to come. Get honked!

On greytide, let me present you Donald Berkheimer, assistant. Met him at maint while looting there stuff for some civilian construction project. That shift the maintenance also hosted a farwa determined with a mission: to use his supernatural powers for the good of the station crew, namely glaring and handing out papers which declared the lone maint wanderer a numbskull and suggested to leave the area immediately.  In this shot I'm warning Donald of this oddity, while monsieur Berkheimer is responding to that with appropiate assistant attitude.

Things went as expected.

As third, assorted shots about the most thing I like to do at the station, life at security.

Spoiler

A) First few about shift starts in the service:

alcoholism.thumb.PNG.cbb00465b4751813016e946343ba2745.PNG

Front of the bridge, the place to meet persons - hilariously wide in variety, as we know it. I like to drop by there during the first, easy moments of the shift - which often results into good laughs, like this one did. John Clarke didn't want to be a chaplain.

paperwork.thumb.png.d9b9e55a4565a251840acf6396705f03.png

Begin of the shift is also the repeating time for even more wide variety of police sheningans. Here somebody was probably pissed of paperwork. (Who doesn't love paperwork?!)

war-dec.PNG.c80379bf7e30948a79fcb4b16263e54a.PNG

Except of when the peaceful working atmosphere suddenly bursts off to be a blood-stained battlefield of deswords and toolboxes. This one is probably my personal favourite from this year.

B) Live action security, in a more or less productive terms

890847386_pocektuwu.png.7ac992c245c82ee9d1485225eab8190c.png

Checking records as a mid-shift arrival. Usually won't check the request console. This message however calmed me, things seem to be in the usual order.

Sieesseseppaa.PNG.b405e7383b45f28117dfc61d6e4ea004.PNG

Some use their time enjoying a hard work, like Kar-Ski the brig doc here... (probably posted this already, but their doings are definitely worth a repost!)

Sieppaa.PNG.8c91657f3a562f126ba8a5bbe73d33f2.PNG

...while well, some always don't.

Sie2333ppaa.PNG.716c7760a8fd9e0ebef34770ab0d621a.PNG

Personally, I am a huge nerd that loves to busy himself, so usually I am losing my head other ways.

desmond.PNG.7e09ea82b1c396e21e475e075211edf9.PNG

Some can, however, both do their job in an effective way and excel at loitering activities, while keeping their head on their shoulders aswell. Desmond "THE TANK" Summy the HOS slew ten opponents in holodeck boxing in a row, me and most the sec team including.

Honk-a.png.827e5b1f6039d4f6245a682206e9f0c2.png

Most my security screenshots are somehow about situations that are, because of multitude of things, ended up unfortunately. Mostly because of you usually have no time to screencap the opposite type of moments, though, but then again the unfortunate situations happen to be more amusing. In space you can lose in unbelievably odd, and laughable, ways.

Your friendlies can also end up similarily. Poor vulp John.

It's part of the magic of the game. Malf AI dealt with and station saved from a nuclear holocaust? Just another day at the office. Or not.

Working with people, losing with people, doing a good job with people, or simply hanging out with good fellows. As last for this time, but not as the least, kind of a friend picture, doing just what you usually enjoy to with friendlies... or not?

This one isn't technically a screenshot, but I sketched it due that I so would had liked to have a screenshot off this shift (and due that there are great artists around to get the space drawing inspiration from).

It started out peacefully, a sec team with good atmosphere around. Then somebody spotted a shadowling. We formed an assault team of three officers, Zayasu Silverwind, Phoebe Dean and Alfred Keitel to together light the shadowy ones up, while rest of the officers dealt with thralls, which worked perfectly this time. The assault team even clad themselves with similar black jacket - beret uniform, beautiful. At this point, they had already killed one, when it was heard in the radio that there's an urgent threat in medbay. As the HOS, I came there personally to support the fighting then, since it heard like a critical case.

The battle happened at the psychiatrist's office, with @MysticLiger, @Landerlow and my spaceman as the security force, here decipted, and of course the shadowling, who was no less than @CornMyCob the Desmond Summy himself. It turned out to be a relatively long fight with plenty of flares, glares and flashbangs, moments of losing and starting over again. Desmond being a Desmond as a shadowling aswell, he managed to escape that time. On the other side, due to teamwork, we stayed alive and bright-minded aswell.

C) The end(s)

survivors.thumb.PNG.57925540c6f13383430b789ffbe43c26.PNG

Not many always survive a working shift. Here's lone survivors of one shift, a NT representative and a cat, and two other folks. Rest were all dead, but I can't remember why.

This parrot didn't probably make it.

Siepparra.thumb.PNG.a8c88ba47d022b84f51d20eec6440588.PNG

Sometimes, odd creatures happen to get themselves out the station alive, like this blob.

shriek-phoebe.png.77c79bf19ae9386b12b208d9ea3f88f0.png

Or like a Vox Phoebe.

kicha.png.2f82897995bf6ca8c3ab038d3213ef38.png

Or. like.. er, something completely other, like a slime ex-vox Jean that is totally not Jean, the IAA in the picture.

For a security man, ends aren't usually so fortunate. Like here "Good enough."

But happy endings still appear even in space, hopefully! Well, you could consider this shot as a such, too, since there was at least liquid nutrition to feast on for tired spacemen.

That was quite my year in space. Fun times. Prematurely,  general thanks and happy new year to you lot making these fun moments happen!
