brief description:   In short RDM me with out any real warning


full description: it was at the near end of the round and i was going to the shuttle too i see that the passenger ferry? (i think that it's name for the small thin shuttle) and seen the what i think was the NSR going to and think i can get a ride from there, no knowing that i can not, so i went on to it and went next to the console with phillip orrbe following behind, and that when he said "can you perhaps not?" and at the time i was thought he meant the console as i was messing round with it, and thinking that i had access to it, so i flash my card two time and said "nope" in reply to what i thought he meant if i can move the shuttle as he was not buckle yet, so i unbuckle my self and move in the middle lane and from there he just RDM me and then drag my body out and thats about it.    


In closing notes:  he can had done a better job at it by giving out a warning to leave the shuttle and go to the other one, or clarifying what he meant to say better and above.

For the record. They ahelped afterwards claiming they were RDMed. I explained to them specifically that a CentComm officer is allowed to ignore Space law and execute people. They then went and quoted space law to me to which I explained once again that CentComm officers are allowed to ignore Space law. I spent the rest of that round as well as a good portion of the first round trying to explain this to them as clearly as I could. However they either refused to listen or didn't understand what I was telling them then proceeded to ask for the Ckey of the admin who executed him to which I gave it to him.

i'm am not refusing to listen, i did listen and i clearly understand what you were trying to say,  however you just keep dismissing it,  and this is all about to tell the admin in question that he or she can do better, and this is as much as a complaint vs you too Esenno.

as i was trying to say some stuff that was very good constructive feedback and was just keep being dismissed about it and just told off to that CentComm officers are allowed to ignore Space law lesson.


In short what i'm trying to say is.


One.

He can had handle it better by clarifying what he meant to say.

Two.

Be more patient about it as dealing with new players or a returning player be not easy sometime but it's worth it

Three.

And not be hasty.



I'm really trying to give feedback but all i'm getting is stonewalled...     (feel like i'm just getting slap in the face for trying to even to say something that can help you guys and being dismissed about and belittle about it at the same time which FEEL frustrating and just want not recommended the server to others)



I only made the thread so it can leave a record of it anyways and that about it.

You see people are being thrown off by CC + ERT saying they cannot use it to escape. The ERT Captain told you to get off, you forced your way in anyway. CC asked "Could you not" as in "Could you not force your way onto the shuttle and get off", to which you replied nope.

Hi there,

First of all I'd like to clear things up for you and anyone else reading this as to how CC Naval Officer operate, because you seem a bit confused about the powers of CC officers and what "RDM" is.

RDM, or random death match, is attacking people for no reason. Admins generally use RDM to describe new players who start randomly bashing people with a toolbox. "RDM, no response to PM" is a very common ban reason. This was not the case at all. It wasn't just treating the game as some random death match. You were executed with a reason - boarding the shuttle, attempting to send it, and saying no to a request. 

You also said that "Yes they can ignore space law but they cant just RDM freely too, they must give warnings at least 2 or three" - this is absolutely not the case. CC Naval officers employ Death Squads to nuke the station.

Looking over your conversation, none of this was phrased as "constructive criticism". You repeatedly argued with the Esenno, when you were in the wrong. Esenno listened to you. He heard you out. He responded to you. Just because you didn't like what he had to say doesn't mean he was dismissing you. You ask him to be more patient, but he discussed this with you for roughly 26 minutes. 

Hopefully you'll take in my clarification above.

Complaint is without merit, moving to resolved.
