Brief description (tl;dr here. Just the critical elements): Komrad822 spawned themselves in as a heavily armed Syndicate Officer during the round with no roleplay context to steal the NAD and activate the station's nuke.

Full description of events: I heard from others that Komrad822 intended to interact with "Dronetopia", built by the colored maintenance drones that that were spawned in through an earlier event. Komrad then stole the NAD that the drones stored in said Dronetopia because it spawned in maints after the captain accidentally left the station Z-level. Security then noticed this situation and tried to intervene. I'm not sure whether or not this was planned, but the response from security to attack a heavily-armed nukie on station should be the expected outcome. I think that an admin spawning themselves in as a nukie unannounced to steal the NAD, activate the nuke, and engage/kill security officers along the way doesn't really fulfill the criteria of an event.

Hi, I’ll be handling your complaint.

While the admins online did come to the agreement to allow the Syndicate to come on the station to steal the NAD as the round was coming to a close and no one had recovered the NAD, a plan was made to emag the drones.

However, with no announcement being made to warn about this, this really was not fair for security due to the above average TCs used by Komrad's Syndicate Officer, a normal traitor would be unable to buy that many syndicate items alone in most situations barring discounts or teaming up with another traitor. (175 TCs in total was used). Additionally, they should not have spawned themselves in as a syndicate officer with an adrenal and freedom bio-chip, a deagle (a re skinned .357 revolver), and an elite modsuit. It should have been a lighter load out the crew should have been able to fight against.

In this context it could've been better to spawn without a heavy loadout and emag a reasonable amount of drones while invisible then tell the drones to retrieve the NAD. Another action that could've been done in this situation is to send an agent controlled by a ghost or controlled by an admin if there are no ghosts available to retrieve the NAD.

Additionally during an event we also deem it acceptable for an event to have a clear superior force (in preference controlled by someone responsible and aware of their gear/abilities) that is unable to be fought toe to toe for a limited period of time to achieve a desired and enjoyable outcome for the players and also with the intent that the crew are still able to fight back the opposing force at some point (in this context, it was near the end of the round so the crew wouldn't have a chance to really fight back.)

This complaint was deemed to have merit and Komrad will be made aware of the conclusion and hopefully they will be able to take this complaint into account for their future events to be more in line with what we want to see in events made by admins.
