Okay, these new spiders are just.. No. They're way too powerful and if the crew doesn't stop the initial spiderlings, the station might as well already be dead. They take about 4-5 lasers to actually kill, melee fighting is suicide due to the venom that decays into Histamine. They populate way too fast and spawn in way too large a number. The minute one grows into an adult, which was also increased, they will smash through windows in one hit, and will kill you in about 2 bites left untreated in under a minute.

 

Every round I've seen spiders come up, it ended with more than a 3rd of the station dead. The event should be something to spice up the round, or to toss a wrench in a plan for antags, not kill almost all the crew and send the station into full blown chaos. At the way things are now, spiders should just have their own game mode based on how difficult it is to suppress them.
