De Onut Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Part 1: Twilight Reveal hidden contents Faint dripping, with the occasional clanging and rattling footstep along piping. The air moist, damp. The tight space tight; uncomfortable to stand in. Rattle! Clang! Rattle! A group of individuals come, meeting in the somber setting as if some sickening form of country club. Several of them being security members... A creature dark as the maintenance area itself stands among them. The slim, disfigured seeming mob, in their macabre parade, drag a incapacitated man across the piping, deeper into the shaft. The creature following the few dragging him. His darkly tinted armored coat's ballistic plates emitting a loud 'Clang!' as they repeatedly slap against the piping. Screams for help, followed by a radio crackle being heard as he is carried away. "HoS!? HoS??!?!", being screamed down the shaft in a echo. The voice rather bubblish in nature. A small figure quickly marching into the darkness, a bright light coming down the shaft from the sound of the voice. A door being opened, and shortly closed as the rattling of pipes becomes louder and more frequent. Their speed increasing as they move. Their PDA light barely illuminates them. A pair of Nightvision medical HUDs glowing over their eyes. A light pink slime person, their ID reading 'Drip; Research Director" They would be carrying a rather oversized for themselves, recently produced, Laser Cannon. Earlier... The same Director would be explaining a freshly built laser cannon to a rather largely built man in a HoS' uniform. "A incredibly powerful directed beam of light, made to be FAR more effective than the usual energy gun. Using the refracting patterns of Diamonds to focus it. A beam capable of blasting a hole in someone, with no worry for drop or recoil. As it is simply light, far more effective than any ballistic high caliber available to us. Present... Director Drip quickly makes their way through the shaft, lugging the cannon along. Their bluespace backpack, along with their various other trinkets emitting a little rattle on them as they move. They quickly shove through the crowd, the crowd appears to be grabbing at Drip, though, Drip does not seem to take note of the group's strange appearance. They make their way to a small room next to the solars access, turning to notice the group quickly closing in. Particularly, a woman with a long, blonde, braid. Being a known friend of the Director. Though, noting their strange appearance and... Malicious intent. Quickly threatening the woman to stand back, aware of her 'Thrall' status at this point. She continues to approach Drip. Their voice shaky, they give off a final set of warnings. The Detective enters mid-standoff. Their revolver drawn and quickly swapping between the two. Drip and their once friend now yelling at the Detective to shoot the other. The woman, being a NT Representative, persuades the Detective. The Detective, not having noted the Rep's prior actions, draws his aim towards Drip. *A gunshot rings out through the maintenance shaft, the Detective .38 Rubber round pounding against Drip's mid-section. Throwing them to the ground with ease, the cannon rattling against the ground as well.* The Thralled Representative scrambles towards Drip as they fall. Unfortunately slipping on Drip's watery 'blood' from the gunshot wound. The Director kicks towards her as they scramble for their weapon, finally getting a hold of it. *The area illuminates a bright red, a deep, rumbling, 'THUMP' being heard, as pipes rattle from being hit.* The Representative drops onto the piping, emitting a loud hiss as all the air quickly leaves her body. A hole gone through their mid-section, having cauterized clean through. Drip quickly scrambles upwards, seeing the group mob the Detective, him being dragged away to certain doom. Sprinting out of the maintenance shaft, back into the light. Scrambling to stow the weapon away in their backpack as they run, to prevent it being taken and used against them by the group behind them. Part 2: Dusk Reveal hidden contents Drip makes their way to the bridge, having escaped the hell awaiting them further into the maintenance shaft. Having heard the HoS had been captured, thralled, and was being de-thralled. They make their way towards the brig. Meeting the HoS in the hallway, wearing his full uniform, armor, and mask. Drip being rather weary of approaching him, stands quite a bit away from him. Awaiting explanation. After he confirms that he has been dethralled, he quickly drags Drip along to the brig, willingly, for safety. The small slime person shivering slightly, constantly reminding themselves of their 'murder' of the thralled NT Rep. They sit in the brig for some time, with the Brig Doctor, a skilled, friendly, Vox Doctor. After some time, a Response Team is called, as most of security has been thralled or killed. The Vox Brig Doctor working diligently working at dethralling crew. The remaining Command and Security move into maintenance with the ERT to hunt the creature responsible for this macabre display of pure malice and darkness. Drip and the HoS, being one of the groups aiding the ERT. As time goes on, their hunt seems to be waning in effectiveness. They drearily continue their search, frightened that they may be killed, or worse, at any given moment. Until. Drip is ambushed by the creature of darkness itself, its bright red eyes emitting a heavenly display of lights and colors. They are completely entranced by this for some time, before the HoS pulls them to safety. "Lights... Lights... So... Good..." He pulls Drip to the bridge, having them sat down in their shivering and unstable mumbling. Drip would stay here, occasionally being dragged about by the HoS. Never returning into the maintenance shafts. Part 3: Dawn Reveal hidden contents The HoS cares for Drip's instability, ensuring they never return to the maintenance areas, partly out of hatred for the creature, partly of interest for the 'Heavenly Lights' experienced mid-thrall. Being teased by the creature over command, it's demonic voice causing command headsets to crackle as it speaks. As this happens, the ERT continues its hunt. A loud series of 'Thumps!' and 'Pews' echoing through the maintenance shafts. The creature reduced to nothing but a pile of bones and remains as the Squad stands in a line formation, having fired into it. The shuttle arrives just as the creature is killed, Drip quickly being dragged aboard into the command cockpit. Along with whatever remains of command. The crew devastated by this creature's rampage through the security staff and others. "L-Lights... The heavenly lights... The beast... Finally Over..." Based off a lovely Shadowling Round. Cast(Specific Characters Involved) will be added with Player's Permission.
