Alright, I'm gonna present suggestions on how to /maybe/ improve virology

 

Currently we have a mid-round event named "Major Viral Outbreak" which releases a disease on a single crewmember if memory servers me correctly, usually it's only the cold or the flu, occasionally brainrot or magnitis, the only thing that can remotely harm you is brainrot, maybe.

 

I suggest that there be two seperate event, one is rare (major outbreak) and spreads dangerous disease like GBS or/and Retrovirus, and the other is much more common (minor outbreak) and spreads harmless/gimmicky disease like Flu or/and Pierrot's throat. Or just add more diseases that can be spread by the current event.

 

Also, virologists can make vaccines from a cured patient, nobody makes it and nobody uses it, since almost every disease can be cured using a specific chem, now I'm not saying that we should remove this method of curing diseases, but maybe make it slightly harder, like requiring more chems or lowering the chance of the chem to cure the disease itself every tick

I was gonna post my own suggestions about Viro after getting the knack of the new system but one of them would be somewhat like yours.

Mid-round event (maybe) with one patient infected with something easily spreadable where the only cure is a vaccine from patient zero.
