No doubt a lot of you have noticed people flopping back and forth all over the place like fish while standing/walking.

 

This is called wavedashing, wavedashing is not actually a good thing (at least not on para).

 

A recent PR that was merged removed the rest delay, which makes it instantaneous.

 

If you have 'rest' macro'd, it allows you to effectively dodge projectiles without really impacting your movement (provided they're targeted on a tile, which 90% of the time they are) by double-tapping your macro (laying down to dodge, and then immediately standing back up), which I've already seen occur a few times now.

 

Shouldn't have to point out what sort of behaviour this change encourages.

Dropping down could be instant but getting up defenitly needs to take a while,

 

+1 to re-adding a delay

Falling down should deal a bit of brute damage. Either when you stunned or dropping down with *fall prone verb. Sleep and rest would be safe for that but would have delays for both droping and getting up.
