TGMC is a project based on the CM-SS13 codebase. |
READ FIRST
- Tick is a "game turn", which takes approximately 2 seconds. Most chemicals do their effect each tick. "Per tick" is omitted from description.
- For example, Bicaridine has 15u in pill. It heals 1 BRUTE damage per tick, and metabolizes at a rate of 0.2u per tick. Then, it will have its effects for 15/0.2 = 75 ticks, or 150 seconds, and will heal 75 BRUTE damage in total.
- If an effect is NOT per tick - it is explicitly stated. It is usually ON INJECT, which means when the reagent enters your body, whether by injection, pill, gas or any other way.
- Damage types are taken as BRUTE, BURN, OXY, and TOX.
- There are additional special damage types for certain chemicals. These are CLONELOSS, STAMINA, and ORGAN damage.
- OD is Overdose. Critical OD is worse than OD, and has its effects added to OD effects. In table, first comes usual OD, then Critical OD.
- Some reagents have different pain effects for different levels. + and - indicate ADDITIONAL change at each level.
- You can hover over reagents needed in the formula to see how to create them.
- The amount of chemicals that can be processed is determined by the kidneys. A healthy set can process 5 chemicals at once - above this, a patient will have a dizzy overlay and periodic confusion. A damaged set will cause the user to vomit in addition to lowering the threshold for this.
Machinery
These are the tools of the trade, found in the chemistry lab for producing drugs.
Chemical Dispensers
This is theoretically your bread and butter in the production of various chemicals. You press buttons and this machine squirts out chemicals that you want to react together in order to make drugs.
You can save recipes here to save a lot of time!
However, due to the limited nature of power and the relatively infinite nature of medical vendors, this machine is used mostly for specialized chemicals not found within vendors.
Chem-Master
Separates, filters, and packages reagents into useable forms.
Unlike its TGstation counterpart, storing chems with this is impossible, as any reagents left in the buffer when a beaker is removed will be deleted.
Can make 30u injectors, 60u liquid bottles, and 240u pill bottles containing sixteen-15u pills. It is also capable of generating its own pill bottles.
All-In-One Grinder
Grinds, crushes, liquefies and extracts reagents from materials placed into it.
If there is a reagent associated with the item, the grinder will distill a pure sample inside the collection beaker.
For example: Phoron and surgically removed xenomorph embryos for liquid Phoron and Larva Jelly, respectively.
NanotrasenMed Plus
Your main source of basic chems, strangely enough. Dispenses reagent bottles that you can empty into beakers.
Can refill bottles and injectors infinitely, as well as duplicate stackables such as splints and trauma kits (as long as it's something that can be vended, so no neuraline or custom injector refills).

Quietus▮ | Template:TGMC:RecursiveChem/Quietus | This is a latent poison, designed to quickly and painlessly kill you in the event that you become unable to fight. Never washes out on its own, must be purged. Causes STAM loss for the first 2 minutes, or the first 60 ticks, after injection. Afterwards, causes high OXY damage when unconscious (which includes sleeping). Causes 30 TOX damage when fully purged. |

Somolent▮ | Template:TGMC:RecursiveChem/Somolent | This is a highly potent regenerative drug, designed to heal critically injured personnel. Only functions on unconscious or sleeping people. Heals both BRUTE and BURN but only when unconscious. The first 25 ticks heal increasing BRUTE and BURN equal to 0.4 multiplied by the current tick. Afterwards, heals 10 of both BRUTE and BURN in addition to a small amount of CLONELOSS that scales with health, healing a default 0.2 CLONELOSS, with an additional 0.02 CLONELOSS healed for each point of health the user is missing, per tick. After 25 ticks and while unconscious (which is required to heal), metabolism rate is increased from 0.2u to 0.8u. If the user is conscious, causes increasing STAM damage. |

Medical Nanites▮ | Template:TGMC:RecursiveChem/Medical Nanites | Main page: Nanites guide
These are a batch of construction nanites altered for in-vivo replication. They can heal wounds using the iron present in the bloodstream. Medical care is recommended during injection. |

Stimulon▮ | Template:TGMC:RecursiveChem/Stimulon | A chemical designed to boost running by driving your body beyond its normal limits. Can have unpredictable side effects, caution recommended. ON INJECT, causes 10 CLONELOSS and increases your movement speed. Causes 1 STAM and 0.5 to 4 BRUTE. Additionally, causes increasing amounts of CLONELOSS, which starts off at around 0.05 and increases every tick, in addition to producing 0.5u of Stimulon inside the body at a 20% chance every tick. Stuns you for a while after it leaves the body. |
