You're a Larva, you have two goals.

1. Don't die.

2. Evolve into another caste.

As a larva, you're extremely fast and can squeeze into and through some tight places.

Doors by clicking on them, and Vents by ALT+left click or use said ability in the aliens tab.

Avoid marines and people with guns.

You will die to one hit from most anything.

2. Evolve into another caste.

In a very short period of time, you can select evolve from the alien tab. First ask your Queen if there's something she wants you to evolve into that the hive needs. If not, you're free to pick whatever you want.

You have four Tier 1 options: Drone, Defender, Runner, or Sentinel.

Select the one you want and say goodbye to your larval form.

tips

Ask your queen what they would like for the hive, then evolve towards that.
