Due to budget cuts, Nanotrasen couldn't afford to put an AI core in SS13, so instead they grabbed a random intern and put them in a cyborg costume, gave them a paper, a special headset, remote, console and PDA, and sent them to the station as a replacement.
Bare minimum requirements: Follow your laws.
Organic AI
Unlike regular AI units, you have hands and can walk! At the expense of having it harder to interact with electronics, no tracking capabilities, biological necessities and weaknesses, inability to abandon the satellite at all even with outside help, no AI shells, etc. Luckily for you, the stuff NT gave you before the shift started should be enough for you to do your work:
- An advanced camera console control pod, that once used will deploy an advanced camera console that allows you to see anywhere in the station that has cameras, and is neccesary for using your remote over long distances.
- A machine wands that controls a fly bot that will fly around the station slowly, and once it reaches a machine/computer click the machine wand and it will allow you to interact with the machine as if you were an AI. Click on a machine from a distance with it to send the fly bot towards it. Alt-click the machine wand to recall the fly bot. Best paired with the advanced camera console. It doesn't work on airlocks (you get a remote for that)
- A remote that can open any door.
- An infinite-range laser pointer.
- A high-volume headset with access to every channel on station and binary.
- A PDA with camera access, power overseeing, and borg/bot control programs.
- A paper with the laws you and your cyborgs are supposed to follow.
- You are allowed to bend or completely ignore those laws to protect your own existance. NT doesn't want to have to replace you, so they allow you to defend yourself even if it goes against the laws in the paper they gave you.
- If the station has the Unique AI trait, your laws will be different from regular Asimov. Always check your laws at shiftstart.
- Otherwise, your laws cannot be changed in any other way unless CentComm decides to change them.
Your Boys
Like regular AIs, you have to manage your subordinates. They have a Law Zero that forces them to obey you, and it is irremovable without having an emag/space ninja gloves. Ensure that they follow your laws, use the borg control program in your PDA to lockdown them if they don't.
