Tier 0

Larva	Survive long enough to grow! Evolves into Drone, Runner, Defender or Sentinel.	aEasy

Tier 1

Drone	Sustain the hive by creating defences and weeds, and healing sisters. Evolves from Larva; evolves into Carrier, Hivelord, Hivemind, Shrike, or Queen.	aIntermediate
Defender	Be a living shield. Evolves from Larva; evolves into Warrior.	aEasy
Runner	Harass groups and murder solitary Marines. Evolves from Larva; evolves into Hunter, Bull, or Wraith	aIntermediate
Sentinel	Subdue threats with neurotoxin cloud and spit. Evolves from Larva; evolves into Spitter.	aIntermediate

Tier 2

Caste	Role	Difficulty
Carrier	Bring facehuggers to the frontline to attach to marines directly, or create traps to infect them as they advance. Evolves from Drone.	aIntermediate
Hivelord	Be a bigger, faster, better Drone. Make ever-larger walls, and dig tunnels to flank Marine positions. Evolves from Drone.	aIntermediate
Warrior	Use your close-quarter combat abilities to beat Marines to a pulp. Evolves from Defender; evolves into Crusher.	aHard
Hunter	Be a better ambusher, with the ability to become near-invisible. Evolves from Runner; evolves into Ravager.	aIntermediate
Wraith	Distort spacetime to teleport itself, xenomorphs, and marines in and out of reality. Evolves from Runner; evolves into Ravager or Defiler.	aHard
Bull	Become a faster and more flexible, but much less tankier alternative to the crusher. Evolves from Runner; evolves into Crusher.	a Hard
Spitter	Fight at medium range using acid spit. Evolves from Sentinel; evolves into Boiler or Praetorian	aIntermediate

Tier 3

Praetorian	Use your strong pheromones and spit to act as a solid ranged support caste on the front lines. Evolves from Spitter.	aHard
Crusher	Charge at and ram into fortifications. Evolves from Warrior or Bull	aIntermediate
Ravager	Rip and tear. Evolves from Hunter and Wraith.	aHard
Boiler	Bombard threats from a long distance with powerful spit attacks. Evolves from Spitter.	aHard
Defiler	Use your dorsal vents to expel neurotoxin smokescreens, and your neurotoxin claws to stun Marines. Your tail stinger injects marines with a neurotoxin/larval growth serum cocktail which can even infect them with a larva. Evolves from Carrier, Hivelord, and Wraith.	aHard
Shrike	The Princess of the hive. Support your sisters with psychic abilities, healing and powerful pheromones. Evolves from Drone, evolves to Queen. Only one per Hive.	aIntermediate
