0.1. Questioning: The act of holding an individual who may voluntarily choose to answer informative or clarifying questions without being formally restricted of their freedom of movement.
0.2. Detaining: The act of holding an individual with no criminal charges, for no more than 10 minutes, for investigative purposes while restricting their freedom of movement due to reasonable suspicion the individual was involved or knows something about a crime.
0.3. Arresting: The act of holding an individual with enough evidence that supports they have committed a crime and may be charged for it.
0.4. Searching: The act of having probable cause to search an individual due to suspecting they may have items of illegality.
0.5. Implant Search: The act of having an extensive amount of probable cause to bring an individual into surgery in order to have a doctor conduct an implant check on them.
0.6. Probable Cause: Reasonable suspicion that an individual may be involved in a crime.

1.1.1. Required to attempt to state the reasons behind detaining/arresting a suspect before any action is taken.
1.1.2. Required to attempt to bring all individuals to the Brig without handcuffing or incapacitating them.
1.1.3. Required to attempt to have an identifying feature that they are from the Security Team at all times.
1.1.4. Required to have a written stamped search warrant from the Warden, Head of Security, Captain, or Magistrate that the individual in question can be searched.
1.1.5. Required to get permission from the relevant law-abiding department head to gain access or patrol their associated department.
1.1.6. Required to keep any weapons holstered and protective gear stowed unless the need arises for usage.
1.1.7. Permitted to have a disabler, flash, flashbang, security-issued baton, and a can of pepperspray, along with other items obtained from security vendors and respective lockers.
1.1.8. Detectives should prioritize investigations and collection of forensic evidence. Security Officers should prioritize patrol duties, stops, searches, and arrests. The Warden should prioritize prisoner care and armory delegation. The Head of Security should prioritize security briefs, dispatching, callouts, and task assignment.
