It is no secret that the asteroid is a dangerous place, from the violate nature of its ores, Plasma, and the local biosphere. This mining base was lost to local fauna - in contrast to rumors of something far more sinister - and was abandoned with little hassle. It is located north of the labor camp and west of the research outpost.
