Maintenance refers chiefly to the network of labyrinthine passages working their way throughout the station. Commonly found in these passageways are fuel tanks, water tanks, barebones firefighting equipment, dead assistants, surprise spacewalks, and crowbars.
The maintenance tunnels are where all the wires and pipes run through. This is a messy area of the station, which is only designed for engineers who have the relevant knowledge to understand all of the things in there.
