This Guide is meant to be more in-depth than the standard Songs page, going more in-depth on some songs as to what sounds better on which instrument, drastically expanding the library of songs which would clutter the main Songs page along with some custom-made songs that just wouldn't fit the current Songs page, and focusing more on using the Synthesizer rather than the piano. These are all played the exact same way, except you will use the 'Import' function on a Synthesizer that may be purchased from Cargo instead for 1000 credits.

The synthesizer has many different instruments at it's disposal that make any song sound entirely different, sometimes better sometimes worse, along with several options to tweak the song once it's inputted depending on the instrument. Best of all, it's mobile! By default, it will play as a piano, but you can change the instrument to any on the drop down menu provided; even mid-song.

(If someone is offended about their imported song having been copied on to this page, we are sorry. No one is taking any credit of these, everyone is equally free to enjoy these and the only goal of these songs is to make the game experience more enjoyable.)

If you wish to add your own songs, follow the steps below. Nearly any midi can be converted to a song with this method, but for best results use solo instrument music only. If possible, and if not an original composition, please list the full name of the song and who played it or what it's from.

How to make your own songs

You can make your own songs from any midi file. You will need the midi2piano tool and python 3.
midi2piano: Direct download - View on GitHub
Python 3: Download page

  1. Install python 3.
  2. Unzip midi2piano into a folder. (if you download it from github, make sure you get all the files and folders)
  3. Open midi2piano.py with python. A window to select the midi file should open.
  4. After you select the midi file, the generated piano notes will be copied in your clipboard, ready to paste in the game piano using the Import button.

Note 1: You might need to tweak the midi file if it has too many tracks or notes in order to get a good piano song.
Note 2: You can edit the file midi2piano.py to adjust some parameters. Check its readme file to know more.
